You missed an important one: GamePass Console lacks online multiplayer that the cheaper GamePass Core does provide. So that's an odd omission seeing as the cheapest and most expensive choices offer that but the middle one does not.
No you won’t keep the games after the member ship expires but your progress will be saved next time you buy game pass membership or buying the game will still save your progress

It auto renews (unless you cancel) every month (or year if you bought that plan) but you don't keep the games every month and are essentially just renting them for the time that your subscription lasts for.

Xbox and playstation are both suffering mostly due to there just isn't any good games anymore and no new good games. Players just don't want to play games that are full of microtransactions and subscriptions because they completely ruin games because the entire game is souly focused around selling them to players instead of actually being a good fun game. I let my xbox live run out because I simply just don't have a reason to re new it. There are no games I'm interested in playing and the game I currently played had become extremely boring (GTA 5). So I busted out the ol reliable Xbox 360 and so far I'm absolutely loving it, replaying Fable 2, Fable 3, Gears of wars, Test drive unlimited, Halo 3, Halo reach and more.
Game Pass Ultimate NOW $18AUD, it's NO long worth it. I'm skipping this Xbox series X and S and believe PC gaming is the cheaper option if you know what you are doing with hardware. No longer needing a major upgrade for a gaming PC every five years. Just build a AM4, I just build a Ryzen 3 3300x with a RX 5700xt and it should play anything and PC game pass $10AUD to $12AUD. Xbox game pass only has 34 million subscribers but 150,000,000 active users monthly so that means over 100,000,000 players are silver subscription because they're all like me and don't want to be paying more money for a service we don't want or care about. Microsoft removed the 12 months live subscription and that was the only one I will ever choose because it's my choice what I buy with my money and obviously apparantly over 100,000,000 other players think the same so Microsoft needs to bring back the 12 months live subscription and not charge players more money for stuff they don't want or care about and don't force these extra features and costs onto people. I miss when Microsoft was actually a good company but obviously aren't anymore and xbox is very dead and it's only the whales that are keeping Microsoft Xbox affloat. Rip Xbox.
