I've had this printer for a few years now and over all i love it, it works very well and has a pretty decent print quality
the issues i have are that you can only use the Filament sold by XYZ so its annoying, expensive, and limits filament options
i also have issues with prints sticking to the bed but that's a given because of the glass bed i just use some painters tape and that works most of the time
its a great printer for starting but i would not recommend it for more advanced people

Just a little hack for you, in school we have this printer (and I was thinking of getting one of these at home) is to put masking tape squares onto the bed. That should help with the sticking!

Just as a bit of help make sure you tune the Z axis when you get it and you will get much better perfect prints. Once you have done the latest updates then you will have acess to more filament types and even the high resolution head.

Are you able to use other programs beside XYZ’s sortware?

Can u up grand the nozzle on this machine to be able to use bigger filament like 2.85

I could never complete a 3D-printout with this machine. The filament stucks in the dispenser, the feeder cuts the filament, the printer stops dispensing and turns empty figures in the air. It's not usable and impossible to complete something.

Strange - the only issue I had were getting prints to stick to the bed. Otherwise it was perfect for me.....

I did a lot of work on my printer now.
I lowered the pressure on the feeder mechanism by reducing the tension of the spring. It had a force of about 3 kg. I lowered it to 300g, by the use of a screw driver to increase the spacing of the springs windings.
I also lowered the pressure of the springs in the filament detectors, to allow a smoother guiding trough.
I had to fix the entry for the filament on the extruder with a nylon washer, mounted under the fixation.
The cone inside the extruder had some sharp edges, where the filament was jammed often. I had to sand it a bit.
      Now it prints perfectly.

Make your own like I did. And turned the fan around because mine was sucking air instead of blowing. Works well

Reminds me of cheap, Hong Kong made, poor quality plastic crap toys that we got in lucky bags back in the 1950's. Who the fuck would want one of these needs their head testing.

Sure can tell you was paid for this review. This printer is CRAP

    • @iftibashir
      @iftibashir  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Unfortunately I do not get paid for any reviews - at the time of producing the video I had no issues and all test units printed fine. Have since replaced the unit so haven't had any long term experience however. Whether I would still recommend is another question given the date of the review and the number of models that now supersede it....
