Out of all the groups highlighted on this channel this group caught my attention. I have never heard of them before although I am in their age group. A number of the criticisms were unfounded. This was a young teenage group and choreography was not their main focus but harmony was. The lead singer, Micheal C. Jackson, was a natural counter-tenor at that time. What a lyrically, beautiful voice! The Crusaders we're a natural Plus! God bless them!

When I see these soul groups, it shows me how dead music is today, especially black music. Black artists lost their soul and harmony and songs about true love. Old school all the way. Never heard of this group but I love them now.

Black artist haven't lost their soul, or harmony. What happened, unfortunately, is that writers, and producers aren't creating this genre of music anymore. Great singers are still coming out of the gospel music background, but classic R&B, which had a sound all its own must be preserved. Check it Out! Ciao!!!

There was another group called "The Crusaders", that came along later, who were very popular. Unfortunately, the group of young guys, featured in this video, seems to have vanished into obscurity. It's a shame. This is a great song. Very talented young gentlemen. Check it Out! Ciao!!!

I've always loved this song. Late 60's/Philly, so many talented artists, but so few saw success. Philly Groove was the label for which the Delfonics saw success, but too bad the Crusaders did not have such luck! Be My Girlfriend, also from '69, was a stone classic as well!

Song writer and putting arraignment of instruments. Some artists don't like the song they are singing, but who's control. Michael Jackson composed this song.
In my opinion for this group and only group coming out singing this cut.
Quite catchie. This is a rare footage of these young men. Lip sync in the 60's was the norm for TV's shows.
