not long discovered her myself well i actually knew about her for over 20 years for one song first cut is the deepest but ive since stalked her other tunes and she really is an underachieving talent no disrespect to p p arnold maybe her record company didnt back her enough but i feel she could have been hugely successful

More likely it is a class thing; the orchestra is doing nothing when they could have been doing an awesome backing, but they don't see it as their kind of music, and not worth their participation. Or maybe the producers had that attitude. Definitely a dead audience though.

I see a beautiful young black lady singing out from her heart and soul in front of a totally white audience who seem mostly disinterested. She is literally the only black person there and has to put on a heartfelt performance in front of this (apathetic, unresponsive) lot. And no I am not woke & I am not black, I'm just stating what I see. She has more about her than everyone shown in this video put together in my opinion. Please tell me if I am wrong.

Not lypsinching, but singing live to a backing track. Thats why the orchestra were sitting around. Great voice, typical 60's studio audience, dead as a door nail.
Looks like she is flogging a dead horse with this one. The French audience is not getting a song written by Australian-based Brits The Bee Gees for USA Soul artist Otis Redding. I would like to have been there.
What a shit of camera man has done this job?! For about 3/4 of the time it's her back to be focused...what a shame 😔 still amazed from the performer and singer of such a wonderful voice ♥️
She is lip synching this song, so the camera man did not want to focus where it would be very obvious that her vocal performance was not always matching the recording. She was also switching the microphone from hand to hand to cover not mouthing the words exactly.
