@@OscarZheng50 Yeah, I'll probably pick X3 over GLC when they did that. But for now, GLC just looks better
@@layingdragon2234 GLC will look better for about a week of ownership, after that week the glossy plastic in touch areas will look worse than a dogs chew toy.

Hi a very comprehensive review. Although you could have mention regarding the cheapest to maintain overall.
I like the looks in and out of the Mercedes more than the BMW, but the overall better car is the X3, imo. Ready to see the redesigned X3 coming for the 2025 model year.

Wait till the warranty runs out and you find out that engine is all cheap plastic...

The B58 engine is considered one of the Best engines made. My lease buyout price was so good, I had to buy it. And that 6 cylinder is rock solid.

Drove both and the interior quality on the X3 felt a little not so premium compared to the GLC, so chose the latter. I guess it’s all a preference thing.
Love my 2024 GLC300. Smooth, quiet, excellent sound system and fuel economy much better than rated.

I bought a loaded 2022 X3 for $34K with 16K miles in 95% new condition. Amazing value and $20K depreciation to whoever had it before. I like physical buttons and touch screen access. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love the GLC but the leg room in the front seats are a deal breaker. Surprised you guys didn't mention that in your video.

I thought the X3 would compete with GLB that looks more like an SUV rather than GLC which has lower roof.

It really depends on who’s driving.
I would take the X3, but I am shopping for my 79 yo Mom so I would pick the GLC for her.
As much as I love Mercedes I'm going to have to go for a BMW who are Mike get both of them

You guys do great comparison esp with split screen. But please just cite the 0-60 time over the smile meter for better objectivity.
GLC comes with a spare tire standard, it’s optional on the BMW. Otherwise very close and good review.
X3 has run flat tires 😃

Pretty much even can’t go wrong with either one. I bought my wife the X3 she loves it. I love it. Great SAV.
Bought my X-3 in September. 3 days later I got rear ended by a 16 year old who was driving her parents X5. Yes, I realize that this has nothing to do with this video, but my concern was that it would have affected my sensors. The body work was fantastic and it is good as new.
I would have thought that the X5 would have had autonomous braking to stop the car? Maybe it was an older X5? That worries me.

just bought a 24 X3, it was $2k less than a similarly equipped GLC, along with the 'free' 3yrs maintenance with the BMW, it was a no brainer. MB needs to provide free maintence for at least 2yrs to keep competitive. MB thinks their buyers don't care about prices, well I guess I am not a MB buyer.

BMW interior looks kinda haphazard, doesn't compare visually to the Mercedes. But BMW is more for sport, and Mercedes is more for comfort.
Nice SUV the only issue in the US is the unavailable Continental Eco Contact 6Q tires. Two flats one repairable. Dealer removed one from a new SUV. Mercedes Corp still terrible in reference to.a resolution on these tires. Ordered a AWD but they put on Summer tires that are not sold in the US. Will be filing a law suit within the year. Mercedes customer service is still horrible in my opinion. My next SUV will be a Lexus!!!!!
When the new X3 comes the gap will be even farther, BMW is for driving.

X3 got a great looking exterior and the interior is even better you have actually buttons don’t like the way Mercedes is heading with their interiors put physical buttons not a bigger screen and to much material surface
I'll choose the CX5 Signature and save about 20K off either one of these vehicles. And, built in Japan.
This is such a gimmick. I went to their website to see if I could get the invoice price for the GLC and after entering the required information, I got an email that says that dealerships will be reaching out to me!! Seriously?? Like what I really want is so many dealerships calling me. Argh!! I wish I hadn't trusted these guys, they basically sell you out to dealerships.

I don’t understand why comparison is against lowest cheapest equipment options? These cars differ so much, just gonintonconfigurator and see how different these are from base line. The actual price for these with good equipment not with top engines is 100k usd

GLC for the win!!!!
Every time see compare with these rivals I must say glc 300 is always over 10000% bmw x3 even x5 ( just comfortable only) bmw x3 never can catch up with glc 300, just because of sound audio is fantastic, gorgeous, clarity sound I ever tasted, comfortable of long trip, 4 cyls but it works like 6cylinders , you drive glc 300 over the bumps or whatever is not evenly on street you feel it glides over very smooth, these are the reason why we traded in x3 M sport package to get glc 300 2021 with 12k miles, so good and it worths with every 1$ dollar from your pocket. Yes.
You bought the BMW sport model when you actually preferred the opposite. The standard BMW would have been a better choice for you

10:43 did anyone notice the Mercedes had a rear taillight light glitch in the center by the reverse light? That’s not the only vehicle I’ve noticed with Mercedes.
I’d rather buy a genesis than buy Mercedes.
Its the rear foglight i think.. going back 20 30 yrs it has always looked silly, ppl press all the buttons. The front 2 fogs may or may not look cool depending on ones taste, but many drivers press all the buttons to go all out and end up with one silly / glitchy looking brake light
That's rear fog light. Not only in mercedes every European cars have rear fog lights ig.

Even if X3 was complete loser here I would go with X3 because of 8 speed ZF trans, Driving dynamic of BMW is at another level.
I’d take the Audi Q5 Prestige over these two.

Just rented an X3 for a week. Was quite shocked about the poor drive quality and crappy interior.
It is a older model compared to the glc which is newer I think when the new model comes it will be on the same league as the Benz

All a matter of individual taste. I have a 2023 X3 and I’m constantly getting compliments of the beautiful congnac colored interior.
Mercedes better as always, more luxury, more comfort, better seats, mild hybrid
the bmw focuses more on driving dynamics and making the driver happy they chose to go with a bmw

@@OscarZheng50 In Germany, the Germans themselves asked them what they value the most, which car is the best, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi or Porsche. The absolute majority consider Mercedes-Benz to be the best. So Mercedes is always Mercedes is a top 1.

@@OscarZheng50 Mercedes drivers wants luxury, comfort, prestige Mercedes is not a poorly driven car. it is more balanced. There is also a sporty version. In addition, you probably did not understand that the Germans themselves consider the Mercedes brand to be the most serious and best representative of their country. And not only them. Bmw were often cheaper than Mercedes, so others also bought bmw, because Mercedes was too expensive for them.

X3 has X5 presence now. GLC looks bulbous and whale like. Too curvy and feminine
People buy BMWs to go fast. People buy Merc's to show what you can afford (even if most who lease either live month to month). Merc for the win because it will spend less time under warranty work than the BMW (I'd favor a Genesis GV70/GV80 or Lexus RX)..
BMW total crap! Transmission failure very common. Plus remember to keep topping up your engine oil. That’s why they throw in the free service because they expect it to be in the shop frequently. 😂
They are both overpriced , ugly , and potentially expensive future trouble.
Buy a 4Runner.
Much more fun and they will not strand you.

Both bmw and Benz is ugly and outdated boring to drive Toyota 4Runner is more fun to drive and have better handling and sportier to drive and is good looking car inside and out and more luxurious than the bmw and Benz yes you are right 😂
