Do you know the last time I did a song from Mega Man X?
It was 5 years ago, and that was just a brief feature of Boomer Kuwanger in the second Mega Man Mega Medley.
Before that, there was the 2014 Mega Man Maverick Medley.
And then that's it. We've technically never had a full Mega Man X arrangement here on this channel. What's wrong with me? How could I so greatly disrespect one of the SNES's greatest soundtracks?
Well, no more! Here's one of my personal favorite MMX songs, and a song that had a lot of requests for a full version from the May Madness ballots: Armored Armadillo!

Probably the most bouncy and energetic track in the game.
To go with how bouncy the terrain on that stage was.
And the bouncy boss himself.
I think that Sting Chameleon is a more bouncy track, this one is definitely the most energetic though.

That track pumps me up EVERY time I hear it (fun fact: once upon a time I could only do the BRUTAL button mashing part where you LITERALLY push back the moon by hearing this music, no really I had to use my brother's copy to have the sound test play the music while I was fighting it during the boss rush mode and I IMMEDIATELY started pushing back successfully once I did)!!!

But this time, you absolutely DESTROYED it with that keyboard playing! That solo caught me so off guard when you continued it with the keyboard; it was, truly, amazing!

I really enjoy how you don't only use guitar, and that you also incorporate the keyboard and use sounds that are similar to those of the original songs. It makes your covers sound truly special, and I am happy that I subscribed!

@@spicymeatballs2thespicening Hello there. Yes, I have beaten every single main line Megaman X game on Normal mode (Talking about the X-Legacy Collections 1 and 2). Now, I see I did not fully explain my position. When I made this comment, I was referring to beating armored armadillo WITHOUT the dash boots, NO weakness weapons, and X-BUSTER ONLY (In other words, just your base equipment in each game). I highlight this because I know about the "Spark Mandrill Syndrome" in each X game and agree that is obviously more brain-dead than this single boss.
Now, I have one small question for you. Have you ever beaten every single boss in X1 before Chill Penguin without having to use their weaknesses?

DAMN Jonny you're flexing with those keyboard skills, you've really improved over the years huh. Also really awesome work on the solo with this track, kept it revisiting the melody enough that it felt nice and connected and not really out of place like really hard guitar solos can sometimes do.
