I played the hell out of this game as a teenager on the PS1. This dude is amazing. Makes it look easy as hell when that definitely isn't the case.
I played this when I was 6 and I couldn't Beat it as Zero. Then the time passed and I gave it another try when I was 12, I could manage to beat it as Zero. The game was really hard.

Megaman X4 is my favorite game. The speedrun and the commentary was amazing
I replayed this game a couple months ago. I was very proud of myself for getting to Sigma after playing for about 8 hours straight in one day. Then I managed to beat Sigma after another couple of hours the next day. I felt really accomplished for beating a hard game pretty quickly. Then people are doing the whole thing in 41 minutes and it makes me a little sad lol.

You definitely will get better i use some of the speed run tricks. While i cant beat in 40. Roughly an hour or more i can beat the game now

I’ve been following him on twitch for years. He is an incredible runner. I am so glad I was able to watch him at a GDQ.
Props to these runners who don't speak English as their first language at primarily english speaking events, that would be terrifying I would think. This is by far one of my favorite runs I've seen in a long time and it's 3 years old lol I gotta get more learned. I had a coworker from Taiwan and he taught me a lot about that country. Homeboy had a whole script lol that's cool

Only thing missing from this run was inputting the code for black zero. Otherwise this was a fantastic run! I love this game so much and it holds a special place in my heart. I still remember the code to get X the ultimate armor 🤗

the references to the Taiwanese MMX manga are cool. I know the plastic models were released there too so Capcom seems to have had a lot of care taken in it's localization there for MMX.

I really like that when the Iris Battle was about to start, everyone just go full silent until the Couch break the ice of that sad/tense moment.

Yeah I agree. Megaman x4 was superb, a masterpiece. X5 was ok... but I don't have anything nice to say about x6, x7 and x8

You do realise X5, X8 and Command Mission came out after X4, right?
I really couldn’t play X4 because of the poor voice acting (especially when playing as X)
X4 was the last great ORIGINAL MM. I've beaten all the X series, MM1, MM2, MM8 and Command Mission, X5 wasnt a challenge til Shadow Devil or Zero, X6 was tedious yet boring. X7 was not it, the graphics were horrible as well as the Boss concepts ugly camera and aiming mechanics. X8 is the next best one, Hard Mode of course. MMZ series is where I'll bet my money at, a little more dark but I like it.
