- We're paying tribute to the King with our last song of the Dreamland Invasion event: it's Triple the D in this King Dedede medley we're calling 'D3', featuring King Dedede's original theme, Masked Dedede, and Buff/Swole Dedede!
A few months ago, my 2014 Masked Dedede remix became my first video here on TH-cam to reach 1 million views. While I'm glad everyone likes it so much, I've always felt it could've been far better. So for this final Dreamland Invasion song, I thought I'd give the King the best tribute I could by remaking his original theme along with Masked, and for good measure I threw in his new theme from Star Allies to top it all off!

But Dedede isn't a villain anymore. He had the villain role of doofenshmirtz / mind controlled / grudge match at most. Other than that, he's mostly friendly / friendly competition / helps save the world.
Nowadays, Dedede has retired from the full time Villain role, and decided it's better to deal with extradimensional threats than to fight Kirby seriously. He gets rekt a lot less, because of that wise decision.

Dear everyone: The Dreamland Invasion event is over! But don't worry, I'll never be done with Kirby songs. Doing this has helped me to see some of the songs you all want from the series that I didn't get around to this time, so I've gotten lots of ideas for future Kirby songs thanks to you all! (I know I know, Star Allies, don't worry, I'll get to it!)
The Dreamland Invasion album will be available for download, for free, over at the GaMetal Bandcamp site (gametal.bandcamp.com) this Monday, April 9th. I will also be doing another TH-cam Live-Stream Q&A on Monday to help promote the release, at around 2:00 PM US Central Time.

As much as I absolutely adore Meta Knight above all other characters, King Dedede's melody is by far the superior music in the Kirby franchise. It's so infectious! Some of the best gaming music ever!!
