Besides, other than the Clash incident, which was debatable who was more fault regardless of what Bowyer said(Hamlin himself even shrugged it off immediately afterward as a product of the small track.), they hadn't had any big issues FOR MONTHS and since the deal at Pocono. That's why the randomness of the Phoenix indicent was why some were confused..

Hamlin didn't give him hardly any room to catch it and got into Chastain's left rear. Chastain saved it so not many people talk about it but it could have been really big since it was in the middle of the pack. In my opinion, IF he hadn't saved it, alot of people would've questioned if it was somewhat intentional to not lift for him..
