Easy 50% of the collateral damage is a direct result of drivers not HOLDING the brakes.
A locked down car travels in a pretty much straight line - predictable.
Too many of these cats are full throttling/steering a lost car sweeping up everyone nearby.

After being in a racing league for six years and doing Talladega and Daytona, every Wednesday and Saturday nights, trust me, if you’re with the right bunch of fellows, Daytona and Talladega are the best I racing I’ve ever had but the operative word is a league we were roughly 40 guys every Wednesday and Saturday nights. What a blast. Three wide racing lap after lap we would go 30 plus laps three wide Full cautions. There’s nothing but a huge rush when you go down into the pits and you’re 20 guys at a time with no wrecks But again, this is league racing
