Hello Mr Hockton. I just stumbled upon this video and thoroughly enjoyed your narrative. As you mentioned, the lockdown has been a game changer indeed. The forced confinement did allow for some soul-searching and has definitely helped unearth some hidden talents. Never before have I regretted this much for not pursuing a career as a chef. I hope you and the family are doing well. Best regards.
Yes I like the way u look at things positively. Some Malaysian cannot accept whats happening. U are very observing on whats happening to environment. Stay safe mr 🌹
Hi Keith. Im commenting from Australia.Love your post.Really enjoyed it. I go to KL as often as I can. Love the weather ,the people and I miss it so much Im now looking at posts like yours as I feel home sick for my 2nd home!! Thank you for your post. and stay safe!!
Hi Keith - great to hear your story. Isn't it great to be able to find alternative things to do, to keep ourselves busy, to learn, to appreciate everything around us. Stay safe! Best to Lisa
Kewl that you have a set of Dickens and only managed to start reading it after 30 years. I left my brushes for the last 40 years and some of the paint that I bought about 5 years have dried up. But good thing is I managed to pick up the brushes and start painting again after 40 years. The benefits of Covid MCO.
I liked the way u shared the idea on how to appreciate nature n thinking in a positive way when we live in solitude. That’s great. Hv a pleasant stay in penang n many other places here.
Hi! It’s amazing to hear some of your thoughts shared on your experiences amidst the Covid lock down period. TQ! We Malaysians are truly bless with our government taking fast actions to monitor & manage the situation. Malaysia will remain a beautiful, peaceful & safe country when everybody chooses to comply & cooperate for the good of each other.
Hii.. Keith.. as malaysians i m proud of my country..that being so appreciated by others foreign &western citizens like u.. that missing all those beauty&value of mnkind since 30-40yrs ago.. Thnks
Hi Keith, I love how you are positive about things. It actually send me positive vibes as well. I have to agree about losing sense of time/day. It actually happened to me a few times thoughout MCO. LOL
04:50 Good Sir, I'm a Charles Dickens fan too. And Dickens books were meant to be read by a chapter or two per day except for the short one like Oliver Twist, Tale of Two Cities and Christmas Carol. My favourites was my first Dickens book I owned, The Pickwick's Papers and the compilation of Sketches By Boz.
Hi i am in Kuching Malaysia. I am from Australia (Perth) but for the last 4 years i have been living in Sarawak. Here to is locked down and we are all at home. We are slowly making our way out and about but. We have all got to wear masks 100% of the time.
I really like hearing you talk about life in Penang and I can’t agree more as I was born here but have lived in the uk for over 40 years. I still miss Penang very much and now come back for about 5 months every year.
What nobody seems to mention about Malaysia is the unremitting heat, combined with high humidity and a ton of rain every year. Looking at temperature graphs, there seems to be no escape - the oppressive heat is unrelenting, Jan- Dec. So you may have a wonderful view from your apartment, the food may be great, the people friendly and the cost-of-living low, but I don't know how you cope. I'd have to have the A/C running day and night. At least where I now live (Malta) we may have three months which are unpleasantly hot and sticky (July - September) but the rest of the year is great.
I’m really enjoying your videos, thank you. I live in South Africa and really looking for a nicer place to live. Been to Bali ten times but moving there isn’t an option, will seriously look at Malaysia. PS..... men do faint, don’t feel bad.
i visited Penang 5 times on business in 2014 and enjoyed my time there. It looks like you have a great place in Penang. Would it be possible to let me know the name of the flat complex where you live so I can research it online
Thumbs up for Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, our Prime Minister, for taking quick actions to contain the spread of COVID 19 in Malaysia. Malaysians are once again able to go on with our daily life without fear of infection. Tq to the PM and ministers who worked so hard to save the people.
Thumbs down for this main belakang PM... if he didnt play belakang the situation will be much than this...the backside govt is having the best health minister in the world..he is also known as The Air Suam minister !!!!!! huu...hu...
@@worldwidecomputerservicesp3794Thank you for your views. There are various documented evidence showing the decline of the COVID 19 virus infection in Malaysia. Notably would be the daily briefings by KKM. The statistics provided by KKM are up on Instantgram and TH-cam for everyone to see. What then, are your evidence that the previous administration, before this new government took over, has amped down the virus infection in Malaysia? Could you share some of these statistics and where you sourced them? Once again, thank you for your comments.
Remember to always wear mask... I like going to park, but looks like this thing would extend at least for a year.... before it's getting fully normal again. Silver lining is I just clean and sort out a very small yard, painted the outdoor furniture, may try to practice there
Good evening Sir...my husband he is already there in malaysia i hope you and my husband be friend there in malaysia thank you and God bless your family
Hi Keith. I was just wondering, how is the visa affected foreign visitors to Malaysia? As far as I know, foreign visitors could stay in Malaysia up to 90 days (3 months).
Interesting that you can make it funny the way you tell about almost fainting looking at yourself being stitched up. It's a man thing; I'd probably would've dramatized it 🤣🤣
Prasana McDonald Exactly, and nobody should impose their beliefs on others in this way. It is better to open discussions and talk rather than “oh, you are here in Malaysia so reading the Quran is good” and saying the opposite is not a “hate comment”. Nobody is hating on the Quran and nobody is hating on anything.

Isn't it strange that you lost 3 days of your life with no recollection whatsoever? It's funny, UFO abductees had reported similar experience. LOL
Why not you read Quran...since you are in Malaysia.
Should Malaysians who stay in say, the UK read the bible then?
