My mother does the same thing really. That's why I have to keep everything in my room and safely hidden. Like my mum would throw away my clothes or wear them herself. She'll throw away my makeup too. And I'm not allowed to purchase anything without her permission even if it's the money I earn by working. Like if I get birthday money, I'll get taxed on it. I got £500 birthday money and my mum took away £400 for herself because "you wouldn't get birthday money if I didn't give birth to you, you're lucky you get any" I really relate to the daughter because my mum is like that too, she thinks that she's the "Queen" of the house and my father has no authority.

The money issue is quite stupid considering that all the money I get from friends, family and whoever has to go to her first and she takes away a sum of it. But it's not really about the money anymore as well, just things like i'm not allowed to nap in the house or the fact that I'm not allowed to play video games because I'm a girl is just infuriating.

This mother remind me of my mother. She was really selfish, when I was 11 she decided that she doesn't need me anymore and left me in my aunt house. I'm 23 now and SHE WANT ME TO PAY HER for all the hardships in her life. Last month I've saw her for the first time in all those years... in court. This is the only way that she can make sure that I will pay her. I hope that this concern won't go as far but she really need to change because it is so emotionally exhausting.

I had the same problem with my father and it is always better to not contact each other anymore, or you will have that bad and hatefull feeling for her forever and can never be happy. Surround yourself with people that love you back. And don't have pity with your mom when she is ill since she didn't pity you when she left you. Just look at her like a stranger ..with no hate and no love. I know a lot of people that say blood is thicker then water, but in the end i learned for my self that you can't force anybody to love you, not even your mom. It's most likely she didn't get the attention she wanted growing up with such a huge family, so she likes going out and seeking attention from others. I think people don't realize that it's ocd. Obsessive compulsive disorder. Every time she sees cracks she gets compulsed to fill the cracks to the point where she gets depressed without it . "Everybody is Selfish. I always come first." That resonated with me as someone who gave up on communicating with my family members for this very reason. Everyone is their own story's main character after all so no one cares to see things my way. I've felt wronged my whole life because everybody was too selfish to try to understand me yet they asked for my understanding. That was especially the case with my mom who isn't really a bad person but is just very dismissive of my feelings and thinks I'm way too selfish when I don't try to compromise with her or my sister, failing to see it's because I only have me to stand up for.. me. If I don't do it, no one's gonna do it for me. But even more so .. My dad, for me, is pure selfishness. He is always right, he is a saint who can do no wrong. I've passionately hated him for years, now I've cooled down. As long as he leaves me alone, I forgive him even. And so after so much frustration and guilt too, thinking I'm the brat here. That I should be a better daughter if I want my parents to be better to me etc. I just eventually gave up. I know I'm just taking the easy way but everybody is selfish and will only see their way. So if no one will make me a priority, I'll do it myself. You be your priority and I'll be mine, that became my new motto recently. Honestly I was terrified of reassembling my father this whole time but now I'm just.. tired. I don't think I'm better than anyone but being selfish is just easier. I might have not had the best role models growing up and was always looking out for myself only and had a very individualistic mindset and I thought I was living well until I met him. it sounds weird but in a way loving him and being selfless made me selfish but in a different way meaning the feeling it gives me making him happy and seeing him happy trumps every happy feeling I created by myself for myself in any way.

The last case, with the pessimistic father reminded me so much of my dad. He gets so emotional and angry all the time due to stress, anxiety, and depression. I think his emotions have kind of rubbed off on me, since I deal with depression and anxiety too. Sometimes I feel like I can't even express a concern or opinion without him getting angry or quickly judging my words. He's mentioned that he's thought about suicide sometimes when he's really depressed. Throughout that entire scene between the family I was just on the verge of tears thinking of how I can be a better daughter to my parents and help my dad be more optimistic as well. I hope everyone can be kind and loving towards your family and loved ones and have them love you too.

So Basicaly, what I thought : 1st concern : I love my mom, I'm really happy to have a mom like mine, I should be better to her. How this woman can be that selfish with her OWN children ? I think that's why I always think to the perspectives of other people all the time, even when I am upset "Oh maybe she wasn't in a good mood, or maybe she forgot". So it helps me now, but I can understand her daughter, she feels so scared of her own dad... Anyway good episode, I even saw Henry hehe !
I can relate with the last girl a bit. Except that my father had left when I was 7 or 8. He wasn't as pessimistic as this father, but he was quite selfish like the first mother (though he didn't throw stuff out to that extent). But like that father he was a different person after he drank, he also punched and threw things. And like that family I also sleep with my brother and mother in one room. It's really difficult for me to recall good memories with my father, one of the only things I remember clearly, was finding my fathers day drawing in the garbage one day. I am now 15 and we have been clearing things up and figuring stuff out for the past years. I hope that she, her father and mother can bond once more and create loads of great memories that they can all keep for the rest of their lives. Memories are precious.

That mom was probably spoiled. Being the youngest of four would explain a lot of what she's done. That's probably how she ended up really selfish and however she is acting like right now.
The first mom is a classic case of bipolar disorder, possibly compounded with OCD decluttering. The fact that no one recognized that is sad. Taking her on a TV show won't help anything. Even medication can't fix her. Moving out is the only answer. I speak from experience; I moved out when I was 18 and never looked back. God bless my mother, but she is impossible to live with.

2. She looks friendly and goofy.
3. She has a good sense of humor.
"Everybody is Selfish. I always come first." That resonated with me as someone who gave up on communicating with my family members for this very reason. Everyone is their own story's main character after all so no one cares to see things my way. I've felt wronged my whole life because everybody was too selfish to try to understand me yet they asked for my understanding. That was especially the case with my mom who isn't really a bad person but is just very dismissive of my feelings and thinks I'm way too selfish when I don't try to compromise with her or my sister, failing to see it's because I only have me to stand up for.. me. If I don't do it, no one's gonna do it for me. But even more so .. My dad, for me, is pure selfishness. He is always right, he is a saint who can do no wrong. I've passionately hated him for years, now I've cooled down. As long as he leaves me alone, I forgive him even.
And so after so much frustration and guilt too, thinking I'm the brat here. That I should be a better daughter if I want my parents to be better to me etc. I just eventually gave up. I know I'm just taking the easy way but everybody is selfish and will only see their way. So if no one will make me a priority, I'll do it myself. You be your priority and I'll be mine, that became my new motto recently. Honestly I was terrified of reassembling my father this whole time but now I'm just.. tired. I don't think I'm better than anyone but being selfish is just easier.
Although kind people are my weakness lol I can never be an asshole to a kind soul. So as a not very extreme case, at last I'm self conscious. Enough to have made a decision to never marry and have kids in the future. I may not be the kindest but I'm not bringing down any innocent soul with me. I know I can never love a child or even a husband properly so I'll at least do one thing differently than my dad.

I feel like your upbringing and environment has closed you off from real connections and might have made you pessimistic. I know it's scary to feel like you're giving your all someone and making what feels like sacrifices not knowing if theyll do the same but in the end love is about giving not taking. I don't think it's too late for you and i hope youll meet someone that is selfless and really cares about you and might teach you how to really think about eachother instead of both thinking about oneself. it's true everyone is their one main character essentially but people by default are made to live together. it's how we survived and evolved all these years. also... it's very nice knowing someone would do anything for you cause they love you and the best feeling is when you know you'd do the same for them. just giving my 2 cents :) p.s. the reason I replied to you is because until a year ago I sorta had the same mindset at you so I understand a little where you're coming from, and then j met my what feels like my soulmate (I know it sounds corny) and he really taught me a lot and I'm still learning from him everyday. he grew up in a very loving environment with two parents that gave up a lot for him and his sisters and they all have a very good relationship still meanwhile my childhood was an alcoholic mother and a father that escaped in his job. I might have not had the best role models growing up and was always looking out for myself only and had a very individualistic mindset and I thought I was living well until I met him. it sounds weird but in a way loving him and being selfless made me selfish but in a different way meaning the feeling it gives me making him happy and seeing him happy trumps every happy feeling I created by myself for myself in any way.

The last case, with the pessimistic father reminded me so much of my dad. He gets so emotional and angry all the time due to stress, anxiety, and depression. I think his emotions have kind of rubbed off on me, since I deal with depression and anxiety too. Sometimes I feel like I can't even express a concern or opinion without him getting angry or quickly judging my words. He's mentioned that he's thought about suicide sometimes when he's really depressed. Throughout that entire scene between the family I was just on the verge of tears thinking of how I can be a better daughter to my parents and help my dad be more optimistic as well. I hope everyone can be kind and loving towards your family and loved ones and have them love you too.

So Basicaly, what I thought : 1st concern : I love my mom, I'm really happy to have a mom like mine, I should be better to her. How this woman can be that selfish with her OWN children ? It's something I cant unerstand.
2nd concern : omg she is so cuuuute, I was laughing so much when she danced. I would love to be her friend, it must be sooo funny to do it with her sometimes, each one with a gun hahahaha.
3d concern : ohh I can feel her. My dad was a little bit like that sometimes when he was depressed and it's REALLY hard to live with someone like that. Because you have to be careful with your words. Anything could hurt him and makes him angry. I think that's why I always think to the perspectives of other people all the time, even when I am upset "Oh maybe she wasn't in a good mood, or maybe she forgot". So it helps me now, but I can understand her daughter, she feels so scared of her own dad...

I can relate with the last girl a bit. Except that my father had left when I was 7 or 8. He wasn't as pessimistic as this father, but he was quite selfish like the first mother (though he didn't throw stuff out to that extent). But like that father he was a different person after he drank, he also punched and threw things. And like that family I also sleep with my brother and mother in one room. It's really difficult for me to recall good memories with my father, one of the only things I remember clearly, was finding my fathers day drawing in the garbage one day. I am now 15 and we have been clearing things up and figuring stuff out for the past years. I hope that she, her father and mother can bond once more and create loads of great memories that they can all keep for the rest of their lives. Memories are precious.

The first mom is a classic case of bipolar disorder, possibly compounded with OCD decluttering. The fact that no one recognized that is sad. Taking her on a TV show won't help anything. Even medication can't fix her. Moving out is the only answer. I speak from experience; I moved out when I was 18 and never looked back. God bless my mother, but she is impossible to live with.

Silicon girl is caulking. It's when you use silicon to seal edges where two objects meet to prevent mold growing or rain seeping in. Henry' technique is what is normally done, to make it more sealed. And it is very fun to do.
