It it normal to hear the bov when you’re mid open throttle? I have the kit and it works as intended on full open throttle and bov on let off. But I was curious because when doing half throttle you can still hear the bov release air and “hiss” is this reducing available boost to the car if I do a roll race? Is it normal ?
No, on part throttle your boost target is less so throttle closes halfway to control boost. The BOV is helping in aiding the boost control which is what your car is trying to do.

Another question, so like you said the BOV would be helping in aiding boost control, if the computer is already getting values before air enters the chargepipe wouldn’t the BOV mess with the values computer is receiving or not so much? This wouldn’t cause any issues with a tune per se correct like timing boost etc?
@@G20_SIM No, there are two boost sensors that the computer is using to control the throttle actuator and WG. One is in the chargepipe, the other is in the intake manifold. When it sees too much air in the intake manifold, it will close throttle to control the boost etc.
