That’s great, you’re gonna enjoy the studio monitors… I’m gonna buy another pair for my another room just because of the price, looks and the flat sound curve..
I got bigger 8" monitors, these and a pair of high end headphones, when mixing, i check the progress between all three systems, gives really good results!
Hello, I have also purchased it. It's amazing indeed. I am facing an issue. What will be the TRS connector jack? Firstly I connedted with speaker with my focusrite 2i2 2nd gen sound interface with all mono jack. But sound was very low. Then i have connected it with all stereo jacks. In this case sound has increased but not upto the mark like AUX, RCA and Bluetooth connection. It's very low volume compared to these connections. Actually, I am confused what is the actual condition? I will be glad if you clarify please. I use is for my music production. Thank you.
Man I just bought these and let me tell you my opinion... first I must say that I own a pair of Sennheiser HD 600 and two "no name" 10" chinese woofers, 150w each... I'm just a regular guy, not an expert but I know a good sound when I hear it haha I only had prior experience with the JBL Flip 5 (I think those are 20w BT speakers) that I got for xmas and I was having a blast with it, especially in the bathroom while taking showers, they're ideal for really small rooms since they have a punchy bass you kinda feel on your body at 70% of the volume at close distance like 1m/4ft away (then they start losing that punchiness); of course they lack volume and "definition", in other words they sound "pretty" for their size but they don't sound HiFi at all, their soundstage is really narrow or non existent and you can't pinpoint details in a track, it's all a pretty sounding mess but still a mess. Yet! I was super impressed with it that I wanted to try some budget JBL monitors for my PC, this time with more power in mind and expecting a better performace. I knew the brand wouldn't dissapoint me. I bought the previous version of the JBL 104 seen on the video (same model without bluetooth and they don't make any ugly sound when turning on) and they actually are what I was looking for. They're awesome like the Flip 5 (for their size) but with WAY more volume and they actually sound HiFI this time. You can sit back on your gaming chair, relax and enjoy the music, it's a magical experience. They have a decent volume even though they're "near field" monitors they can fill any living room with sound easily, they're loud but not to throw a party with them, maybe in a small family reunion indoor setting they would do fine. What you shouldn't expect: a lot of bass... the only thing that does't make them perfect is that they can't reproduce low rumbling frequencies like a subwoofer would do. Don't get me wrong, you can still hear it and you feel it a bit, especially if you're really close, and it's beautiful, and you get super excited thinking "I need my body to rumble with this like in a concert", thus YOU CRAVE FOR MOAR because it sounds beautiful!... so that's the only downside in my opinion... I've seen tutorials on how to add subwoofers to these monitors but I'm not sure how to yet.. I'm thinking on buying an active subwoofer in the not so distant future and try it myself. If you're a normal citizen (not a professional) maybe an amateur audiophile on a budget AND you don't need a "BIG" sound AND you still love pretty sounds at close quarters then these are for you, they won't dissapoint you. Just keep in mind that they're similar to small woofers everyone used to have at home like 30 years ago. If loudness is imperative for you and you also need better low frequency representation then look somewhere else.
I totally agree with you buddy. This is great for a flat sound. Except if someone likes the low frequency bass to be more pronounced then they need to grab another subwoofer using audio interface to connect with it.
I tried to use these as a small bluetooth stereo for bedroom. Was a total failure. They sound great up close at your desk, but put them 8' away and they are thin and useless. I took them right back, can do much better for $218.
Does this speaker have a delay for a few seconds when you pause your sound for a few minutes then play it again while on bluetooth? I have this annoying issue with my current speaker where when you play music after being silent, it takes 2 seconds for the speaker to wake up and start playing sound
Nope. Its having one active monitor only. The other one is passive. So you need to have another active monitor to run the passive one. But the active monitor can run without the passive one
Bro is it real that r5 4600 + GTX 1650 4gb gives 60-70 fps in gta 5 in max settings bcz I'm having a lot of issues in it it is giving 30-50 fps in (normal graphics ) I don't know what to do I have already saw hundreds of videos (I'm from your asus tuf a17 video
Depends on the resolution… now everything maxed out at 2k will not give you that… you have lower few settings.. but at 1080p almost max will provide you close to 60fps
These studio speakers are great in all the tests you can see and hear, I am anxiously waiting for mine to arrive, also buy them in White 🙌😎

Which one are better the JBL or the Bose companion? Sound quality wise?
I haven’t compared them .. but as a studio monitor guy, i love my JBL studio monitors.. really affordable as well..
Is it just me or was that base actually pretty good on the bass heavy song?
Yes it is.. but it doesn't produce the extra bassy feel like normal speakers
Would you recommend JBL 104 BT for basic home studio setup ?
100% .. cause im gonna buy another pair so definitely yes
Shall i use this in tv to watch movies?
How did you manage to get them for 70 bucks? Second hand? Or is there any promo acrosa the year where they are available in that price?
I got an insane deal. I have a full unboxing video of the sealed JBL box so Its new😁.. I should have bought another pair at the same time..
I’m getting one for 50
And it’s new
@@brandon.g3 do you mind telling where to find such a deal?

Saving up money for these speakers for my podcast studio and talk show 😁
Not good .treble is low. Muffled sound.😢
You have an amazing voice brother.
And THAT is the test I wanted!!! Thank you!!!!
Thanks for such a nice comment ❤️❤️
Does the bluetooth make any start up sound like every other BT speaker?
No I don’t think so.. it has start up sound but that’s when you turn it on.. it’s sounds good not cheap like those speakers😁
I tried to use these as a small bluetooth stereo for bedroom. Was a total failure. They sound great up close at your desk, but put them 8' away and they are thin and useless. I took them right back, can do much better for $218.
They are studio monitors so it’s about using them up close and on desk

No zero delays in any case. It only happens when the speaker goes to sleep mode when not used for a little long.. can’t specify how many minutes.
20 mins inactivity goes to sleep and 5 seconds of sound wakes them up - you can turn it off because it will drive you crazy
Where did you get this at that price?
It was on sale..I wish I bought another pair.. now its twice the cost. And I need another pair 😁
Can anyone answer asap cyber Monday almost over can u play these separate in different monitors
Nope. Its having one active monitor only. The other one is passive. So you need to have another active monitor to run the passive one. But the active monitor can run without the passive one
