Just found out you have a second channel so i subscribed. Instead of teflon sheets (great idea but I've never heard of them before) I've always used plain cotton muslin scraps to press delicate fabrics and interfacing. That way i can have my iron as hot as it will go and it doesnt burn the muslin or thr delicate fabrics. Love the video, i have 2 patterns for overalls, and 2 different sets of directions,but it never hurts to see an actial video!
Also just fyi, when it comes to elastic insertion and trying to get it past seam allowances, i learned to topstitch the seam edges down about half an inch in order to keep the elastic from catching. Works great, takes 2 seconds.

Maybe you can look for an overall pattern with similar dimensions to your dolls and make modifications as a place to start.
