Nancy is a national treasure. She was on our tv for years when I was growing up. Although I don't sew, I do feel a sense of joy when I see her.

Now wait! How did that gathering technique work?? You pull the bobbin thread long, then zigzag stitch over it? Never heard of that!
I tried it and it worked! I used to use zigzag with dental floss but her way is better
yeah WTF was that???? and they just glossed over something so mindblowing like, oh everyone does that... myu heads still spinning...
Where can I get the doll clothes patterns I love them
I have been searching and having no luck finding patterns. There are some of her (Joan Hinds) books out there but many are upset because the patterns are taken out of them. I'm disappointed because these videos show some awesome doll clothes to make in a simple fashion. I'd love to (try to) make some. New sewist....figured these would be easy and fun to try for my granddaughters.

American Girl dolls weren't around in the 70s. The date listed is when this video was posted on TH-cam, not when it first aired on the show on TV. It was on TV on October 30, 2011.
