When we swim easy we do the drills to emphasise a certain part of the stroke. When we do it at speed it’s the same reason, so we’re challenged to perform the drill well, and holding the water well. Some drills work better than others I think, but we’re always trying to figure out how to maximise each one!

@@seanmurphy55 good luck with it mate! Keep in mind that the drill still has to be done well, not sacrificing it for more speed!
