Loved the video, felt like i was riding along with your lil family. I’m looking to upgrade to a Model Y Performance from my Model 3 SR+. Your car is the exact one i’m looking at getting. God bless you and your family.
Thank you so much! Excited that my video helped you see what you’d be getting! It’s been a while but I have another one coming out soon! The model Y is worth it, especially now while it’s cheap. I bought mine before the price drop.
@@niicechris i ultimately decided last night to change it to a LR from a P. I honestly want the range over the 0-60. I had a M3LR as my first Tesla before it got totaled several months after i got it.
Fact: We just did a 5k Road trip from Austin to Bismarck, then Wisconsin,etc... I drove my brand new 2023 Y Long Range, and my brother brought his 2023 Toyota Sienna Hybrid, and he beats us in every way - I charged MULTIPLE TIMES & the SUPERCHARGERS were so EXPENSIVE, then he just STOP half of what i did, and he spent less 30% than me, after we calcluate everything. To make rhe long story siort, his family had way better experience than mine,as they don't need to keep on stopping to charge, and their captain chair is so nice! Only super fanboys/fangirls will say that Tesla is good for Road Trips, as in the reality is, ALL NEW MINIVANS still the KING when it comes to ROAD TRIP, period. (TESLA is only good for short trips)
I'm in Canada. I just got my MYP, love it, but hate suspension stiffness. I still dare not to take it for a long trip yet since we're moving into winter. I'll try it during summer.
Congrats! The ride is for sure rough over bumps but thats why some people get the 19inch gemini wheels to have that much smoother ride! I did the long trip and it was actually pretty smooth with the 21 inch rims
@@niicechris .. one thing is the stiffness over bumps - what about roadnoise and cabin noise, when driving on a not well maintained highway or freeway - how is the noise influensing your conversation and or listening to music quality?
I don't mind the stiffness, and I come from a BMW 7 series... it is indeed stiff but it's well controlled. Don't forget that it is a performance car, not a luxery cruiser
@@rudy4986 it is very very stiff to the point i get headache because it bounces me around too much with potholes. Actually it’s a shame of my city road. It’s really smooth on the good highway.
actually very enjoyable video to watch. Blessings to your young family.

I’d hate to pull up in a minivan and the driving experience of the Y is superior but I don’t have a big family.

@@larsw.larsen4173 sorry for late reply after 5 months. Road noise is a lot compare to luxury cars such as BMW, Lexus, audi.

Nice video I have same color model y performance.
Is it possible to set Navigation to “speak” directions as well as showing them on the screen?
Yes
Did you have premium connectivity in your Tesla when you filmed this trip?
Yes! And I purchased after the 30 days!
Did I miss seeing the other dog?
