@@symmetry4wd I too am from Australia and interested in this bar for my 80 Series. I did go to their website 2 days ago and submitted an inquiry. But I'm yet to hear back. How do you find their customer service? Is this reply delay normal? Or are they usually responsive? I hope to hear back from them soon.
How would you rate the Pajero vs Patrol vs LandCruiser? or the pros and cons of each?
Pajero is not in the same class as 80 or Patrol but they are ok but limited by the suspension configuration. The Patrol is possibly the best off road out of the box but mostly due to the rear limited slip diff and generally the drive train is stronger. After that the 80 wins hands down. There is no comparison in built quality and comfort and lack of noise. The Patrol rattles from most everywhere particularly the rear barn doors with the spare wheel hanging on it. Over time these flog out. Even the base model 80 , the DX, with barn doors has a similar issue. I have owned an 80 for 20+ years and mates have and had GQs and I speak with experience. Once you modify either the same way the 80 wins due to its quality and durability. They are a much nicer than wd to drive and there is very little difference in there off road capability but on road is goes to the 80 without any debate even from Patrol owners.
