I feel as though nature is coming together to rejoice. Love the background sounds at certain parts like the sounds of birds.

Fine performance, nicely edited. The generation of the orchestra from 2008 is a lot older now, one wonders how they're getting on. The piece was for them about 200 years earlier, but there's a new one every so often. DW: diversity! Where are Black performers? Doesn't this piece belong to them, too? Alle menschen.

A very good performance. However, I am not sure I like the use of the piccolo in the first and third movements - Beethoven scored it only for the fourth movement. It is too shrill for the themes of the other movements, in my opinion.
Nulli secundus. Not all cultures produce such sublimity. In fact, post-modern Western culture seems captured by the ugly, decadent, and trashy. Inevitably the values, virtues, and beliefs of a culture produce its art. This, alone, speaks volumes about our age.
1st movement way too fast...doesn't allow the music to breathe. Karajan has one of the fastest tempi, and this is way faster than Karajan's... Karajan's 1st mvt. breathes...this is mechanical....no flexibility.
Coincido con quienes sostienen que el tempo es algo rápido. Prefiero a Karajan, Bareimboin. De la nueva generación Lavandera, Dudamel. Pero son estilos. Quien más que Beethoven para concebir está maravilla de sinfonía, entre otras. Gracias Maestro.
