Hello. For front fender equipped bikes, consider the Yakima OnRamp, here's a link to details: www.rackattack.com/hitch-bike-racks/yakima-onramp/ Thanks!

    Do Not Buy It!!!!
The Dr. Tray is mega flimsy! G
I would Highly recommend going into you local shop that carries is and seeing it first hand, and put a bike on the rack and move the bike while it's on the rack. The whole rack flexes at every point. the main arms extending out from the vehicle have flex, the cross arms that you put your bike arm flex A LOT, and the tray for your rear tire looks like a crappy go pro mount, all plastic under there that I expect would break. Also, the arm that folds on your front tire, is not very user friendly. If you mount your bikes, and push down on the arm to secure them for transport, when you go to take them off, the button is a tiny little plastic knob that isn't very user friendly.
Go into a shop, take a look, but I would recommend going with the Thule T2 Pro XT which is the same price, waaaay better quality.

The T2 Pro weighs 52 pounds which is 20 pounds heavier than the Dr.Tray which weights 32 pounds. Yakima offers the Hold Up which is 49 pounds and very robust and more comparable to the T2 Pro. Thule does not produce a rack comparable to the Dr.Tray, the closest comparison would be the Kuat Sherpa 2.0

Did you test the 1.25" model of the Dr. Tray anywhere? How does this compare as it is listed as a heavier total weight?

Don't like how you demo with a road bike because they are too narrow to have conflicts with the other bikes. Almost like a shady demo where you are hiding a big flaw in the rack. Should demo with two wide bar mountain bikes. I mean when do you and a buddy go out riding together with a fat bike and roadie bike? The most least likely of combos!

Our idea was to show the wide range of bike styles that fit the rack. The Dr.Tray provides bike to bike adjustability on both the x and y-axis and is designed accommodate two mountain bikes without conflict.

Good point Newt... but sometimes i would take a MTB and roadbike together if i were going on vacation. It is nice to see how the rack can handle both extremes of tire sizes. But yes... watching hours of reviews while trying to decide because mostly need a rack that can handle two MTB with 700+ mm bars!
