The last time they were on Karaoke Carpool in 2020, they said they still live together after 8-10 years. Some bought their own places but it seems like they still live together in a dorm at the most expensive area during their busy schedules.

I think BTS didn't do bundles because they make music to make music, not to make history. That just happens on its own lol. RM was asked why they give so much of their solo work for free and he commented that they make enough money as a group -- the extra music are gifts. How they approach music and their fans is the main reason that I support them so much. They're thankful for the love they receive, but they're also just...real.

ARMY is the most knowledgeable fandom I know in the workings of the music industry. We become experts in journalistic media, radio and billboard calculations, award academies, social phenomena and injustice, etc. - all because International ARMYs are BTS's publicists, translators, and promoters since the Western industry won't acknowledge their worth and do it for them.

Korean marketing is top notch. Groups release multiple versions of the same album with different concepts. You don’t just get a CD. You get photo books, stickers, photo cards, postcards, posters. It’s super fun unboxing your album bc you are excited to see what you’re going to get. I’m 49 and still buy multiple copies of the albums for the different versions. Its satisfying to get a photo card of your bias. No western artist is marketing albums like this. So, even if you never use the cd and stream all of your music, you still buy the album.

I’m 62 and started loving everything about them in 2017. I just happen to see them perform on the AMAs which was their first performance on an American award show and I’ve been into them ever since. I wonder if I didn’t see them on the AMAs when and if I would have found out about them. Now they are a huge part of my life on a daily basis not just their music but every part of them. I feel like I know them each personally which is hard to do given how globally popular they are. But that’s how they are with their fans. I’m pretty sure my friends think i have gone crazy. Even my daughter at first didn’t get it but now she understands it at least. She even went with me to their concert at Staples Center. She said it was the best concert she’s ever been to. You will not believe how much I spent for those tickets since it was impossible to get a tickets the usual way. Becoming a fan changed my life so much and makes me even feel young. It’s so fun to be an elder ARMY. I feel lucky and grateful to have found out about them. They deserve all the love that they get.

I am 52. Loved many artists throughout the years but never joined any fandom; every artist sounded repetitive in the end, however much I loved them. I could never buy an albums before BTS and preferred to pick and choose the few songs I liked. BTS collided with my life nearly 3 years ago and I fell in love with their lyrics, music, passion, their artistry and ultimately genuine, humble attitude. I became ARMY a couple of years ago and I have never been part of a community like this. Yes, we have a few bad apples (look up the theory of the 1%) but overall, this fandom is mind blowing in its variety and inclusivity.
Have fun falling in the rabbit hole. We love watching people fall for these 7 unbelievable artists, staggering performers, masters of their craft.

i think they live together when they have schedules like jin, rm and jimin went live before grammies from their dorm(rm trolled the wifi speed in hannam hills), but when they have free time they shuttle between the dorm and their own house.
Then again the security in Hannam hills is insane no one can get in without id's and prior permission so it is better if they live together.
upto our knowledge they still live together. RM's hometown is literally 10-15 min far from their dorm, jin's too ig. So they shuttle around ig.

Not only BTS he's been treating all other artists in the company so well. I like how Mr.Bang always encouraged them to participated in writing or composing because he can see the potential in them. And last October, he made BTS a shareholders of the agency. BTS are now partical owners of the agency. They owns $108 million of the agency. The fact that BTS are already listed by Forbes 100 highest paid artists ranking at no.43 in 201 , now they becomes more rich rich. It's so crazy.

Big Hit is the label. They’ve grown so much as a company that they’re Hybe now and Big Hit is under Hybe.
Tomorrow by Together (TXT) is another group managed by Big Hit. Enhypen is the newest addition. They were formed from a survival show, I-land, where Big Hit was one of the main label. They debuted under BE: LIFT, but they’re under Hybe as well, and many of them trained in Big Hit.
Hybe owns many other companies, so they have Gfriend, Nuest, and Seventeen now, but those weren’t originally Big Hit.
Only BTS, TXT and Enhypen are originally formed and managed by Big Hit, now Hybe.

You could see all of Big Hit's (now HYBE) artists during the online New Year's Eve Live concert (minus Seventeen who were previously engaged.)

    Hi Jacob,
Thank you so much for watching this video and learning about BTS. Part of the reason why this is important is because it adds to the appreciation of the music they create and perform. You honestly cannot go wrong with following what BTS does. Even if it's not quite your thing, there is always something to learn from both BTS, Bighit (now called Hybe) and ARMY. As a fan, you learn about literature, mythology, psychology etc because they cover these topics and leave for you to unfold from their lyrics or their music videos (Blood, Sweat and Tears has so much symbolism it's no joke. You'd miss it without watching an explanation video). If you are into business, strategy, management, Bighit is such an awesome company that they have been able to grow from near bankruptcy to going public and no acquiring different companies to make up different components that will help them as music company. They've acquired labels, talent management companies, app companines, production, gaming companies etc. As for BTSxARMY, our fandom is very well researched. We've had to break so many barriers to give a Korean group the opportunities they have deserved and nonetheless seized. ARMY researches rules of different things such as charting on Billboard and all other awards and endeavors they've taken to ensure that we can participate in their success. Again, thank you so much for being open to BTS and recognize the amazing skills and talents they have. BTW, xCeleste is an awesome member of the fandom who just happens to also make great videos just for the love of BTS. You can react to her other videos and you would find inspiration from BTS for their hard work and passion for music and performance. Also, for a quick breakdown of who each member is and their role in the group, please react to "Who is BTS: the 7 members of Bangtan." by Suga & Spice. It's a bit outdated but is still a great summary and introduction of the members. Please continue to react and learn from BTS and I hope you feel inspired with your own music as you watch their story continue.

I'm so happy you are digging a little deeper because I have a feeling you will appreciate what they have achieved and how they have stayed so very humble and true to themselves and one another despite thise that did whatever they could to stifle them. As for living together, its become a hot topic these days. Some have separate apt. some don't or we don't know because its not our business. But it seems when they have a lot going on they stay at their dorm and we know V and JHopp at least have places in the same building and Jimin and JK have bought homes nearby. OH!! At the time I was battling cancer and my depression was spiraling out of control. Their lyrics, dancing, humbleness and even their Run BTS shows became food to my soul.

36 year old army here... loud and proud... it’s hard not to appreciate a group like BTS.. the music, the dance and the performances are legendary... but their dedication to their artistry that they truly have passion for music and it’s so obvious when you start t pay attention. It’s hard to find people doing the level of music that they are but almost always having an important message that anybody at any age can connect with and feel. From inside out... it’s the art, connection and passion that really connects bts and armys.
You should watch the “who is bts” guide has an orange thumbnail of your like to see each member described individually, where they came from, what they do in bts and clips of all these little special things about them that will def help you see who they are and be able to remember to know their names

Early 2020, RM said they all still live together (and have lived together for a decade), but who knows if that has changed and/or if that's a 24/7 thing. They own their own properties, so maybe not, but at the same time, they say stuff like "you need to live with me forever" and there has been a lot of recent footage of them in their dorm (read: luxury apartment) so idk.

Weverse includes multiple BigHit/Hybe artists. You can essentially join whichever artist community you are a fan of and it is a private social media site for just them and the fans who joined that community. They will post there similarly to how Twitter works, but they tend to be more free with what they post in Weverse because of the more insular environment. They also will actually respond to fan posts.
You should have seen them on Weverse after the Grammy's 😅 They were making a concerted effort to calm ARMY down.

I think the reason why BTS appeals to all ages is because they discuss subject matter in their music people of all ages and backgrounds can relate to. No they've never won a grammy yet and this year was the first nomination. But they've won billboard music awards, american music awards, and Video Music Awards.

Aside from BTS, BigHit also manages TXT (BTS’s junior group) and Lee Hyun (soloist). BigHit Music, used to be known as BigHit Entertainment, is now under HYBE Labels which consists of a number of subsidiaries other than BigHit Music. Belift Lab manages Enhypen, Source Music manages G-Friend, Pledis manages Seventeen, Nuest, Bumzu, Nana, Kyulkyung, Yehana and Sungyeon, KOZ Entertainment manages Zico and DVWN. HYBE Labels also recently bought Ithaca Holdings through Hybe America. The founder and CEO of the whole corporation is still of course Bang Sihyuk.

Also, i've never thought liking a group would lead me to support a whole company. I have so much respect for their former CEO Bang si hyuk (he resigned few days ago). Despite being just a small company who were near to bankruptcy, still being true to his goals of creating a boyband who seeks sincerity and authenticity to reach audiences through music. The fact that their debut song were about telling teenagers to question their true dream instead of following mainstream dreams like being a doctor, teacher, lawyer, engineer etc still blows my mind. I have so much respect for Bang si hyuk for treating BTS as real teenagers who wants to reach their dream through music and not treating them like trained machines for the industry. their ceo never give them any restrictions, but treating them how a father would want their sons to success (BTS members refers themselves as one of Bang si hyuk's sons). Knowing how toxic KPOP industry is where some company would starve their trainees, not giving them freedom to use social media, etc. but bang sihyuk changes his method of training his artists and i love that. Once he said "We never being strict to our artists telling them to do this and that, we encourage them to do so, but if you're not here to grow and develop for the better, then you can always leave the door"
Armys always have so much love and respect for the staffs who works with BTS, we always acknowledge their efforts to give us various contents. real ARMYS dont only share our love with BTS, but to everyone involved in the success of bts as well as those who stand up and support us

Shoutout to xCeleste, she's like celebrity ARMY at this point, haha! Her videos are so well put together, thank you for reacting to this one 💜
I gotta say one nitpicky thing about 4:30 though, the pronunciation of Jungkook's name...I'm not really fond of the way she says it because it's kinda like a weird combo of the Americanized and Korean pronunciations. I think the way you've been saying it is fine; it's how most English speakers pronounce his name. The proper Korean way is really hard to spell out, but I would describe it as "CHUNG-gook" with a shorter "oo" and the last "k" is very light or dropped altogether.
Here's a video example! th-cam.com/video/7geNY8QxIQk/w-d-xo.html (From their variety show Run BTS which is free on Vlive and Weverse, during which they often play quiz games and have to "ring in" to answer by shouting their own names 😂 )

Kpop albums are on a whole other level as compared to Western albums, heh. They don't need to bundle with merchandise. The albums are collectable on their own. They have beautiful packaging, posters, stickers, exclusive pictures of the artist's, and in BTS's case also exclusive Notes related to their fictional storyline.
For their album BE the album came with an entire photo book, and the lyrics page was a copy of *handwritten* lyrics from the guys with little sketches and doodles. They also included some copies of their note pages from writing their music.
