I listen to BTS, but Jimin is my bias and I love his voice, plus the humility and caring he shows in his personality. I could just watch his dance from 2019 MMA for hours. I do enjoy the other members, Jin's new album is great. I was hoping Yoongi would convince him to open in his concert tour (which was great BTW). Jimin will always be part of BTS and he was part of what drew me to them. BTS will always be a part of me, their caring and willingness to sing about real issues. There outstanding vocals and performance standards, and their chemistry and love for each other is inspiring. Out of the solo albums, I do enjoy Jimin's the most. I still listen, enjoy, and purchase the other members solo music. And they all are on my playlist as well as BTS.

The words on the marquee are lyrics to Jimin's song Closer Than This, which is a fan song but also about his BTS brothers. It was released the week he went into the military as his "goodbye for now and I love you" song to ARMY. This release, Who, was part of his Muse album, which was a surprise he prepared ahead of time for ARMY while he was gone. BTS prepared many surprises for us while they are serving in the military. Jin and j-hope have finished their military service so far. Jimin and the rest of BTS are still doing their military service right now and are due back next summer. Yes, Jimin is a sweetheart. Both the fans and his brothers call him "an Angel." They say if anyone stares into his eyes too long, they will fall in love, including themselves. LOL He also uses the tag for himself "Cutie, sexy, lovely, sweet guy." His father calls him his "lovely boy." He has a gentle and shy personality but is a voracious flirt with absolutely everyone. He struggled in BTS early years with trying to put on a tough guy persona to match their gritty, hip hop style. He is now the member who has by far the hardest time watching their old stuff. He hides his face and says "Ugh, who am I? Who is that guy?" He gets emotional because he knows how hard it was for him to live that lie and struggle to accept and be himself. whatever that means to him. When asked what he would say to his younger self he has said "Jimin, you nice, keep going" by way of encouragement in more lighthearted English language interviews. In a more serious Korean interview, he cried and said "Hurry and become me." He has done multiple songs about this struggle with identity, like Lie, Filter and Set Me Free Pt 2.
Yessss Jimin!!! He's my bias because of his angelic vocals and looks, but also because I really relate to him personality wise. Jimin is so sweet and caring, and always thinks about others first! For his second solo album, Muse, Jimin made Who (which is the main title track) all English since it's the song he'd be promoting the most, including at American shows, but the rest of the songs are a mix of Korean and English like most kpop songs. His talent is truly on a different level! What's crazy is that each BTS member is equally as talented and amazing in their own ways. XD
You’re in for a ride! Jimin is so talented, is an understatement and the more you learn about him the more you’ll realize it and genuinely fall for him. Been an army since 2016 because of Jimin. If you’re serious about learning about BTS and Jimin then I suggest watching BTS content in depth and fan made content and documentaries. Having said that, most fan-made BTS documentaries and intros lack severely in introducing Jimin so I strongly suggest watching TheJiminVideos as content for Jimin! That channel is the best source to get to know his uniqueness and get a taste of his talents and influence. To this day I say nothing compares to BTS and I also say nothing compares to Jimin.
Interesting that you should mention that most fan-made BTS documentaries and intros are lacking when they get to Jimin, I have always thought that too! They always seem to put him at the end, probably because he was the last to join, but they rush right through his content. He had accomplished so much before he joined BTS, and worked so hard was he did join to catch up, and be a perfect as he could possibly be. Someone, I believe Yoongie once said that hard work could make you a genius then Jimin is a genius! We all enjoy the result because everything he does is just pure magic!

He's a black belt in Taekwondo and is a Kendo master having studied it for 8 years. He incorporates all his training and martial arts moves into BTS performances, he adds the extra magic. To answer some of your questions: BTS and the members are way beyond KPop now, their reach in the West is unparalleled, they paved the way for the rest of Korean artists. The members solos vary, some have a more Western feel, like this one and Like Crazy (Jimin) and Jungkook (or JK for short) has a whole English album Golden. Jimin's Set Me Free Pt 2 (he has no Pt 1 but Suga has) is a Korean & Eng mix which is common in BTS and Kpop. They are all very versatile and therefore appeal to all ages (I'm 56), backgrounds and music genres. For JK I rec Standing Next to You, not the Usher remix which you can watch afterwards. He's our talented macknae (means youngest) but all the members are exceptional. It's like having all the Avengers in one team! 😅 When you watch Taylor's Guide be aware that the Korean age is usually 1-2 years older as they count a newborn baby as 1 year old and then at New Years add another year! I know, sounds confusing but just bear in mind going forward that whatever ages are stated, they're probably 2 years younger. Also, you might know this from anime but surnames come first, then their name. Anyway I'm sure Army (Adorable Representative MC For Youth) will help. Looking forward to your continued journey! 🤗

Loving that you are loving your k-music journey as K-pop doesn't fit at all. There are so many genres not just pop. I love this song so much and I am so much older than you and married! It brings back the feelings all of us have before we find our special one. I am constantly amazed that so many male Korean singers can hit some incredibly high notes. Jimin was taught contemporary dance and also Taekwondo so he can do some amazing moves. His body is fluid and you will notice that in BTS J-Hope is incredibly fluid too but he is hip hop and Jimin just slays the same move. I love them both but you really can see the difference in the styles. You need to watch each of the others members then. Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, V and Jungkook. You could also do as I did and look at some 2nd generation stars to see how things have changed. I'm enjoying so much more the music out of Korea than the western world at the moment. 100% would recommend watching bts and jimins, live performances also, they are amazing!!!! once getting to know them and their names id recommend "MMA 2019" , a whole 40 minute live show DURING an award show, they took home all 4 grand prizes, such an impressive performance full of dance breaks and amazing singing and rapping , when watching keep in mind that during the song dionysus each member represents a different greek god. BTS is so far outside typical kpop that many ARMY don't even consider them to be a kpop group. I'm a senior (67) and feel that Jimin's voice is the first I have ever heard that reminds me so much of MJackson.....they both naturally sing in that high register. The words on the marquee are lyrics to Jimin's song Closer Than This, which is a fan song but also about his BTS brothers. It was released the week he went into the military as his "goodbye for now and I love you" song to ARMY. This release, Who, was part of his Muse album, which was a surprise he prepared ahead of time for ARMY while he was gone. BTS prepared many surprises for us while they are serving in the military. Jin and j-hope have finished their military service so far. Jimin and the rest of BTS are still doing their military service right now and are due back next summer.
Yes, Jimin is a sweetheart. Both the fans and his brothers call him "an Angel." They say if anyone stares into his eyes too long, they will fall in love, including themselves. LOL He also uses the tag for himself "Cutie, sexy, lovely, sweet guy." His father calls him his "lovely boy." He has a gentle and shy personality but is a voracious flirt with absolutely everyone. He struggled in BTS early years with trying to put on a tough guy persona to match their gritty, hip hop style. He is now the member who has by far the hardest time watching their old stuff. He hides his face and says "Ugh, who am I? Who is that guy?" He gets emotional because he knows how hard it was for him to live that lie and struggle to accept and be himself. whatever that means to him. When asked what he would say to his younger self he has said "Jimin, you nice, keep going" by way of encouragement in more lighthearted English language interviews. In a more serious Korean interview, he cried and said "Hurry and become me." He has done multiple songs about this struggle with identity, like Lie, Filter and Set Me Free Pt 2.
Yessss Jimin!!! He's my bias because of his angelic vocals and looks, but also because I really relate to him personality wise. Jimin is so sweet and caring, and always thinks about others first! For his second solo album, Muse, Jimin made Who (which is the main title track) all English since it's the song he'd be promoting the most, including at American shows, but the rest of the songs are a mix of Korean and English like most kpop songs. His talent is truly on a different level! What's crazy is that each BTS member is equally as talented and amazing in their own ways. XD

You’re in for a ride! Jimin is so talented, is an understatement and the more you learn about him the more you’ll realize it and genuinely fall for him. Been an army since 2016 because of Jimin. If you’re serious about learning about BTS and Jimin then I suggest watching BTS content in depth and fan made content and documentaries. Having said that, most fan-made BTS documentaries and intros lack severely in introducing Jimin so I strongly suggest watching TheJiminVideos as content for Jimin! That channel is the best source to get to know his uniqueness and get a taste of his talents and influence. To this day I say nothing compares to BTS and I also say nothing compares to Jimin.

Interesting that you should mention that most fan-made BTS documentaries and intros are lacking when they get to Jimin, I have always thought that too! They always seem to put him at the end, probably because he was the last to join, but they rush right through his content. He had accomplished so much before he joined BTS, and worked so hard was he did join to catch up, and be a perfect as he could possibly be. Someone, I believe Yoongie once said that hard work could make you a genius then Jimin is a genius! We all enjoy the result because everything he does is just pure magic!

Jimin is the only member who is a classically trained dancer and was top student. He learned popping and locking and would compete whilst at high school. He's a black belt in Taekwondo and is a Kendo master having studied it for 8 years. He incorporates all his training and martial arts moves into BTS performances, he adds the extra magic. To answer some of your questions: BTS and the members are way beyond KPop now, their reach in the West is unparalleled, they paved the way for the rest of Korean artists. The members solos vary, some have a more Western feel, like this one and Like Crazy (Jimin) and Jungkook (or JK for short) has a whole English album Golden. Jimin's Set Me Free Pt 2 (he has no Pt 1 but Suga has) is a Korean & Eng mix which is common in BTS and Kpop. They are all very versatile and therefore appeal to all ages (I'm 56), backgrounds and music genres. For JK I rec Standing Next to You, not the Usher remix which you can watch afterwards. He's our talented macknae (means youngest) but all the members are exceptional. It's like having all the Avengers in one team! 😅 When you watch Taylor's Guide be aware that the Korean age is usually 1-2 years older as they count a newborn baby as 1 year old and then at New Years add another year! I know, sounds confusing but just bear in mind going forward that whatever ages are stated, they're probably 2 years younger. Also, you might know this from anime but surnames come first, then their name. Anyway I'm sure Army (Adorable Representative MC For Youth) will help. Looking forward to your continued journey! 🤗

I always ask the same question.."what makes a song k-pop"? This song was actually written by American songwriter Jon Bellion. There is a behind the scenes video on the making of the song in the studio and also one on the making of the music video which was actually filmed in Hungary but made to look like US. Its always refreshing to me to see reactors find BTS and realize the talent each individual has. Thanks for your reaction.

I love this song so much and I am so much older than you and married! It brings back the feelings all of us have before we find our special one.
I am constantly amazed that so many male Korean singers can hit some incredibly high notes.
Jimin was taught contemporary dance and also Taekwondo so he can do some amazing moves. His body is fluid and you will notice that in BTS J-Hope is incredibly fluid too but he is hip hop and Jimin just slays the same move. I love them both but you really can see the difference in the styles.
You need to watch each of the others members then. Jin, RM, Suga, J-Hope, V and Jungkook.
You could also do as I did and look at some 2nd generation stars to see how things have changed. I'm enjoying so much more the music out of Korea than the western world at the moment.

I'm a senior (67) and feel that Jimin's voice is the first I have ever heard that reminds me so much of MJackson.....they both naturally sing in that high register.
