Awesome video. We had the eclipse come right over our house but the clouds were so thick we were not able to get shots of the totality. So we were kind of bummed. Despite that it was awesome when it went dark and got a couple of shots of when it was happening pre and post.

Ah those darn clouds! We got lucky over here. Had a SMALL gap during totality!

I was just south of you (5ish miles) and had a bunch more clouds than you had. It made an awesome effect for sure on our video taken. I just paused the playback and took some screenshots to get some pictures of it. Like you, when it happened I thought of Heroes as well, lol.
