    Are you near a mall and park? Can you get the bus?

    • @malikahonthemove
      @malikahonthemove  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      The closest mall is Plaza Altabrisa and it is about 10 min away with light traffic. There are collectivo’s which is a bit larger mini van type “ bus”. But DIDI ( like Uber ) will come out this way. There is a park near here , not sure exactly where.

    E U E U dodo water time to go. I had considered moving there, but after thinking it over and over l figure if you leave the US you just trade one problem for another. I’m retired living in Texas and l thought I’d move there I’m sure that l would save money by living there but I’m pretty comfortable in Texas. You have the right idea about being on the move. If possible see as much of the world as possible while you can. I’m almost 70 and l notice that I’m getting slower and slower so keep on moving looking and learning stay well my sister and stay Blessed.l still laugh about when you were in that grocery store and said that it smelled like swamp and ass l get so tickled every time I think of that.😂

      You do have problems anywhere you go but I can say after living in 3 countries that there is nowhere near the stress levels you have in the USA! Even if you don’t “think” you have stress, you learn that you really do. It is the nature of how the US is set up.

    It is sad that the prices are doubling due to expats.

    • @malikahonthemove
      @malikahonthemove  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      There are filters that you can add to the shower. I also used them in Thailand . As a rule , you don’t let water get in your mouth or eyes . Your skin has natural defenses. Sadly, the price increases are all over the world where expats have began to move en masse . I guess it is the way it goes when folks are flocking to get away from the USA!

    Hi Malikah…..where exactly is your home located? My son is moving to Merida this coming summer with their five year old and that playground looks wonderful. They’re currently looking at options that include proximity to a school and of course shopping so any advice you can offer would be much appreciated.

      Hi and thanks for watching. I live in Conkal which is on the outside of the periphery of Merida . Many of the privadas offer playgrounds, green spaces , gyms , grills, pools etc. I don’t have school age kids so I couldn’t tell you about school. I do see many here do the home school thing.

      There are many privadas with single level homes! Not a rarity at all. They even have some with casitas in back . The pig smell isn’t constant, usually after a rain. Our privada is taking steps to treat our private water cistern .
