    Hey coach, I’ve been inspired by the stand up style of Soviet boxing. The focus on effective footwork as a defense and a base for offense meshes well with how I’d like to box.
    I was wondering, do you have any drills for clean footwork while keeping the hands up? Copying Muhammad Ali early on, I’ve developed the habit of keeping the hands low to counterbalance. When I put my hands up in guard, I find it difficult to keep my footwork smooth.
    Something to improve my footwork when my hands are up would be great.

      Maybe try loostening your shoulders while stepping and jumping. I see this coach do it alot. You have some kind of counterweight as well I think. Oess
