It can be used but engine require big modifications and costly as spark plug should be installed. Better use for petrol engines. Some big vehicles are converted from diesel to CNG. Not seen on car.

It works. Use throttle body cleaner available at autoshop
Also add system G for petrol/ Sustem D for diesel. In Fuel tank 10ml/litre
Me kalch cng takala ahe sequential majhe petrol var pn rpm kami jast hoyche madhe madhe rpm vadte
Check with technician for same throttle body issue or electrical issue

What is you spray
I used degreaser. Removes black oil and dirt easily. Throttle cleaner are available at any auto shop.

If you are asking for throttle body cleaner on diesel car. It works in same way and I’ve tried on my D90
In Diesel engine once I used Water to degrease engine and it worked well. Water expands 1100 times in enginr and removes carbon dirt deposits
