I love the pace you go - it gives us viewers time to see the amazingly beautiful scenery. I also liked the music on this one. Definitely watching more of yours! I live in Colorado but haven't been here since we were kids. I don't have 4x4 to go there myself so I thank you!
Wish you had made it to the lakes. Anyway, thank you for an enjoyable ride. The music was great too. I generally stick to the eastern side of the divide, but just might have to take that trail to Yankee Boy.
The end of that large overhang collapsed not too long ago. After it was cleaned up you can easily swing wide away from the wall with minimal clearance issues.
Nice video... Good trails, easy soundtrack. I'm hoping to get moved back to Grand Junction at the end of summer, After my Jeep rebuild is done. Then this will be 2 hours from home again.
Hey Joe. This Trail starts in Ouray off the 550 just south of town. It is an out an back. The road leads to a beautiful overlook of lakes just over the last ridge (the snow bank at 12.400 ft where we turned around). We goofed off and took pictures, and hiked the twin falls, so I am not really sure of time. Trail is about 9 miles long so plan on 3-5 hours.

Ive seen a lot of Colorado, and I've been in about 40 states and Colorado is the best eye candy I've ever seen
Excellent video, thanks for putting it up! Only time we were up there it was a beautiful, sunny day. Great memories....
nothing like getting out and riding the trails. i love going out there. great vid.
Thank you! We love the mountains in CO.
My wife and I drove this in 1997. I remember seeing red commercial tour vehicles. Open top I think. No more I guess. Seeing this was fun. Thanks.
They still have them. They might be white nowadays tho

Awesome work, Mark!
A couple of Friends and I just returned from Ouray the trail to Imogene and Yankee boy are awesome.
We did this trail in late Sept 2017 in the snow. It was truly beautiful...
Thanks for a " badass video "....can't wait to drive this myself!
Thanks for this awesome video 😍❤👌
Well, it was a nice drive until the snow turned you back! Great vid for getting me stoked for my next trip out.
Thanks a lot for posting, very beautiful. So what month of the year was this filmed?
This trip was in early July.
Well done!
I drove this in the mid 80's. Has this road been extended since then?
7:44 that would prevent taking a taller vehicle. Seems like lots of the trails in CO have one spot with tight overhead.
John P taller than it looks. www.wanderthewest.com/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=9239
Did you make it to the Mt Sneffels trailhead?
Does anyone know what the height of the overhang is on the trail? Clearance height, Thanks

Very nice. Thank you for sharing it. What time of year did you drive the trail?

Thank you! July 10, 2017. Still snow at the top of the lake pass. Wildflowers were not quite out yet.
😍😍😍😍😍
Where does this trailhead start?
Directly south of Ouray. About 2 turns outside of town. There is a split to Imogene at the Camp Bird mine a couple miles up the trail.

Will my Uber take me?

In Romania they would call a road this quality "Interstate"
