When driving on those shelf roads what happens if someone’s coming from the other direction? Like would you go in reverse until the other person can get by?
Uphill has right of way. Also, common sense and courtesy come into play. Not always does everyone play by those rules...back downhill...suuuuucccckkkkssss
Just curious I plan on making and 8 state expedition starting June 15th and I will be in the Southwestern Colorado area on June 24th and 25th period how do you think the weather or the roads will be in that area at that time
I guess you know now! Lol. Have a blast! If you can, come back to the area towards the end of your trip, even black bear was clear when I went last year beginning of August
Good question. You can check on internet. Almost all of these "trails" are actual roads. County supported roads, before you go you'll be able to find out if any roads are closed. Late September is iffy up there. Have a great trip!!👍👍

Cool video. Thanks for not putting some overpowering music over the sounds in the video.
You are a braver man than I!
Next time you stop to read a sign, turn the camera towards it!
Is it one way? I have always wanted to do that road.
You musta had some hella mud tires on that Jeep. Impressive.

@@jasondevereaux3369 Good lord. I would NEVER want to be put in a situation to back down this road. Terrifying.

I'm guessing there will still be allot of snow. Might be late enough though. This was 1st week in June, but they sure did get a ton of snow this year
Are you from that area

What's the rush?
Planning this drive in the last week of September . Will they be too much snow?

Was surprised to see that "someone" snow-plowed the road. Who plowed it?
Open trails are money in the bank for the locals. They have folks open those trails as early as they can each year.
is this just engineer pass on your video? plan to do it on ATV sometime next year
Great Vid. Any suggestions on some camping areas close to the trails, and not busy?
do you have a camper /rv or are you tent camping?
Tent camping. Will have a truck with enclosed trailer with our bikes/atvs
Lindo lindo
gracias
I rode that on a dirt bike in the colorado 500
Nice trip!
SUPERBE
Looks like an accident waiting to happen.
thanks. black bear is next
what the hell!!
PS: think you need to learn about speed as well. That was far too fast downhill with mud and water and snow about.
I was totally in control. I've been off-roading for most of my life. How much experience do you have to give advice?
If I need any advice on sitting on a couch or about schnauzers, I'll ask you.
