I used to live in Cook County Ill, moved to north central Indiana, can keep my house unlocked and feel safe, and afford to live with decent safe schools for my kids. This 7 pm ending of police patrols is problematic. If the libraries can alter their hours, certainly the Police and Park district can revisit its 7 pm scheduling. Take it to 8 pm and escort the youth to out in respect of curfew ( revisit curfew to 10 pm on weekends)
