Well as ive binge watched like 5 of your videos throughout the workday this is the final video that got me subscribed! You describe stuff so well and i cant express how much i love the videos where we get to see the full frame person and fish like at 7:17 where its not in GO PRO- POV all the freaking time which drives me crazy. Great content dude!!!
Great video with detail on all aspects. I am a longtime fly fisher who is getting into river smallmouth fishing. One detail not mentioned is if you always cast upstream and retrieve downstream or vary it up. The surface water was not easy to read but I saw bubbles flowing top of the screen to bottom of the screen. What’s the technique as it relates to stream flow? Thanks
@6:54 Did the drag slip and click before you tighten it down? Does that reel have a drag clicker? I am looking for a reel with drag clicker that is NOT a BFS... Thank you for the video!
I live on Cherokee Lake which is East Tennessee's Smallmouth factory ... We don't fish PERIOD without a Fat Impact tied on . The 3.8 chartreuse blue back is no doubt one of the top 3 baits for brown fish on the TVA . Hate that about your camera . Sweet video 👍👍
Yeah, had camera memory storage and lost last week's footage so I feel your pain. The challenges of making outdoor vids. Sigh. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!
Is this the Susquehanna River? The banks and general look is giving me those vibes, but I’m not sure where you’re from or where you’re doing these videos out of. I’m out on the water in the Susquehanna River almost every weekend.
Hey, I watched a couple of your videos doing some research. I’m looking to pour my own jighead for a 2.8” Keitech. Do you believe the 2/0 is best size???
You have a very good point when you say that they are less expensive than crankbaits for example, which we also lose quite often for the same type of fishing prospecting. I always found this brand of swimbaits too expensive until I was tempted by some models. Since then I love them. They are definitely more efficient, flexible and pleasant to fish than other brands. I also use them in chatterbait trailers or with underspin jig heads.
How do you like to fish the keitech swing fat impact?
I like the Matt Allen swimbait jig heads, flashy swimmer, cool baits underspin with the fat and easy shiner.
rage swimmer? too stiff? Great show Nathen as usual
Great information and action also hope to see some largemouth fishing and techniques.
They will be coming!
Thank you Nathan, great video, much appreciated.
Thanks!
Just caught my PB today on a Keitech paddle tail love this bait...
Awesome!
That was awesome. That was awesome delivery with those catches while you're explaining your method. Great job 👏
Thanks! I appreciate it!

Thank you so much I really appreciate that! There will be much more of that coming this year once the ice melts!

Do you know the name of the mold you use to make the jigs?
I think it’s just called the Gamakatsu round head jig!
Do you ever use hair jigs ? If so, I'd like to see a video 🎣 thanks for your videos !
I can do that!
Awesome video! Sorry bout your camera bud
Thanks! No worries we got a new one!

For sure! They work great on underspins!
I use same jig, 2.8 inch sexy shad. Crush em in CO
