Your channel is awesome! Fished my whole life but only recently started fishing seriously. Your channel was the first I found that liked as well as learned from. Iv caught my PB smallmouth and largemouth in the past month. Thank you !
A few of us left. 72 same deal as you. New boat & all support stuff ! Ty is one of the best on youtube. Dont forget Matt Stefen, Also a great pro Tight Lines
Man we hammered them on mosquito Monday. Top water, by far the best way to fish a kitech style bait. 90% of the fish I've ever caught on the swimbait is top water. My go to in slightly submerged and very thick emergent vegetation
Great video. These are all things I do to put clients on fish when the bite gets tough. Sometimes it's just about giving them something a little different. Another one my favorite ways is on a swing head. And one more is to put a screw lock into the nose of the swimbait and nose hook it on a dropshot. These will often work when others work. This video is going to help people catch more fish. Great job Tyler. Keep up the good work my friend.
I watch a lot of fishing videos. I find yours to be the most informative and like the fact that I'm not being hard sold on product. I really appreciate your format and knowledge sharing. Great job and thank you!
Yessssssssirr....I actually haven't fished it with the colorado blade...I have done more with the willow blade. But ill babe to give the colorado blade a try!
Here in Missouri that bit is getting tougher by the day for me “ paddle tails” have started using some JDM soft swimbaits having some better bites and better fish size.
Caught my pb crappie on a 4.8 keitch on a 1/4oz owner flashy swimmer. Started to throw the 3.3 and 2.8 recently, started to catch everything in the lake.
Thanks Tyler and another great video. I've used the under belly spinners on a keitech but not on a Texas or Carolina rig! Definitely gonna try that on July 9th at my next tournament on Coldwater Lake in MI.
@@BassFishingHQ Ahh that's very cool! Yes thats where the lake is located too. Is north west of the city of Coldwater I believe. I run a series of tournaments for the company I work for and we chose Coldwater Lake since not many ppl from my area has fished it. You know any tips would be great lol!
Bro I love your videos. Very helpful. I really appreciate you taking your time to do what you do. So I live in Eastern NC, where the water is "brackish". This is a whole new world of fishing to me down here, as I am from New England. I'm always listening for those tips that add in, "if I'm fishing brackish or dirtier water I'd do this...". I implement a lot of my normal bass techniques, as this is all I know, but it really seems like I'm not catching that many fish. So can you plz just add the "brackish tips" in whenever you can? Again, I appreciate everything you do man. You've really helped me UP my fishing game, and become an all around better and more knowledgeable angler. Thanks Bro🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼💯💯💯
Having your ball head hiked on that grip had me cringing so bad!! Love your stuff man been trying to make the most out of “fishing the extremes” on my local lakes it’s tough out here when you have to find them and don’t have that fish finder. Fun nonetheless have a happy fourth!
hot fishing in Indiana today at my pond , got one lil bass spent about 2 hours :P Getting into fishing thanks to your vids, big tip have a pair of pliers in your tackle kit. It is a lifesaver for dehooking fish safely. :) happy fishing yall hope you get bit
What do largemouth bass feed on most of the time July they end of august? Shad? Bluegill? Crawfish? I fish mostly from the bank Am I out of luck since I don’t access to deep waters? Seems like most bass will be deep and the stragglers will be shallow
Matt stefan taught me that keitechs actually have a denser plastic in the bottoms half of the bait so it actually acts like a natural belly weight to keep it swimming upright, even when weightless
We appreciate your help my brother! I wish the heat index wasn’t 110 in Mississippi over the last two weeks, it’s been tough not frying from the humidity.
Hey, keep up the good work a lot of good info in your vids! I personnally really don't like the keitech swimbait the type of plastic they are using is not durable and they are really hard to rig, they keep slipping on the hook.
Thats absolutely fair. Keitechs are definitely a softer bait so you will rip them up more. That softer plastic definitely has a more realistic action in the water as well!
I just read about 5 minutes ago that Randy Blaukat said to get rid of ribbed swimmers because bass don't bite them anymore. I like Randy but I don't subscribe to his point of v this one. Ribbed swimbaits work here in the Ozarks.
That is another great way to rig it which I was wanting to show, but I didnt have any rivets on hand to show the proper rigging. Ill probably make a full video on just that in the future!

Thanks so much for the kind words. I appreciate it
3.3 keitech in sungill color on a #1 flashy swimmer with a Colorado blade is a smallmouth killer
Yessssssssirr....I actually haven't fished it with the colorado blade...I have done more with the willow blade. But ill babe to give the colorado blade a try!
The presentation with the flashy spinner is exactly what I was looking for so ty
Here in Missouri that bit is getting tougher by the day for me “ paddle tails” have started using some JDM soft swimbaits having some better bites and better fish size.
4.8" Smallmouth Magic Keitech Swing Impact FAT on the 5/0 Flashy Swimmer caught my 7.9LB PB Largemouth Bass in 2020. Listen to this man 🤙🏻🤙🏻
I love a flashy swimmer. I also love the Megabass Okashira head. It's a swimbait jig head with a spinner on the front.
Caught my pb crappie on a 4.8 keitch on a 1/4oz owner flashy swimmer. Started to throw the 3.3 and 2.8 recently, started to catch everything in the lake.
Tyler, do you have a link where we can contribute to your channel? Thanks for all you do...
Thanks Tyler and another great video. I've used the under belly spinners on a keitech but not on a Texas or Carolina rig! Definitely gonna try that on July 9th at my next tournament on Coldwater Lake in MI.
I had a friend who used to live in Coldwater MI..not sure if that is where the lake is but just assuming lol

Nice Video, great tipps. And ı want to ask; Which reel is better you used? Okuma Helios SX or Bruin ?
Thank you for the awesome videos!!

I love the ball head it catches the most fish for me

What do largemouth bass feed on most of the time
July they end of august?
Shad?
Bluegill?
Crawfish?
I fish mostly from the bank
Am I out of luck since I don’t access to deep waters?
Seems like most bass will be deep and the stragglers will be shallow
Great way to rig these. Thanks for sharing 🎣 👍
Thanks for watching Rod!
Great tips - Culprit Riptide Mullet is also great on the flashy swimmer. Keitech is good choice, but not as durable from my experience.
So the hook doesn’t have to pop out when you hooks the swimabait?
Great video! Thank you very much!
Nice. If Keitech has a floating bait, that might be killer to run on a carolina rig? It might hover just above the vegetation. Tight lines
Tyler, I live in East Tennessee and I’m going fishing on Melton hill in the next couple days do you have any suggestions or ideas
I like that bobber stopper idea.
Heard a keitech on a Tokyo is good too
Good vid. Great topic.
Was that underspin at the end attached with line instead of wire? If so, would it be feasible to use a Mepps-type spinner instead of just a blade?
Matt stefan taught me that keitechs actually have a denser plastic in the bottoms half of the bait so it actually acts like a natural belly weight to keep it swimming upright, even when weightless
Matt Stefan has a great channel!!
We appreciate your help my brother! I wish the heat index wasn’t 110 in Mississippi over the last two weeks, it’s been tough not frying from the humidity.
Yeh tell me about it! This is the hottest it’s been in a while!
i literally put my shirt in the cooler with clean water , slap it back on hehe
Been hot up here in TN and fishing has been tough. Hang in there!
Always good conent!!

The keitech was hot for like 2 weeks. Now I can’t even get a bite. Definitely going to have to try this out
Mosquito lake is my home lake. It is less than 10 minutes from where I live.
It is a really great lake! Especially when they don't spray the grass
Great info ++
Tore them up on a big joshy big swimmer with an underspin!
New sub! Liked

I guess everyone has there own opinion but I agree with you. It seems to me that a ribbed swimbait still works really well
No line thru
That is another great way to rig it which I was wanting to show, but I didnt have any rivets on hand to show the proper rigging. Ill probably make a full video on just that in the future!
What ever you do, don't cut the tail off and put a willow. leaf blade on as the tail!$$$
No not the weedless underspin lol that's my goto bait
It is definitely a great way to fish
