Josh Bray All of Florida used to be swamps... Up until this point, the gators weren't a problem. They still aren't because they're afraid of people until people start feeding them. Which Disney tells people not to, but for whatever reason they think it's cute to do.
it was the parents fault not Disney there was a sign warning people about gators and to not swim in the water yet they let their two year old put his feet in??
There was a sign that said no swimming, But there was no warning signs about alligators, And they weren't swimming they were just standing in very shallow water less than 1 foot deep, And I've seen pictures of other kids playing in the water in that same spot.
+mega_star Thats actually one of the most dangerous places to be as thats where gators hunt. Watch any docu, they attack from shallow water. Yes Disney shouldn't have such an area open to the public, this was bound to happen but parents really do need to take precautions as these incidents keep proving that the park, zoos, etc will not.
The Dynast Queen They should've had it fenced off then, and had signs warning of the danger, because most of the people staying at that hotel aren't from Florida, And I've seen video's and pictures of other kids playing is that same exact spot, One lady even said her kid was playing in that same spot twenty minutes before that happened,
would you really say that to yourself if you were being bitten and tortured to death by an alligator. No you would be screaming, and trying to get anything to get that monster off you, even if you had to kill it
The parents were right next to the child when it got attacked. The alligator grabbed the kid faster then the parents could react and they tried to stop the alligator but it was to strong and to quick.
+Bruce Wayne difference between having kid in water or on land being eaten by gator? land is worse, they aren't as stealthy on land as in water = less attention on the kid.
+Tatayana R. They had no control over it. He went to play in the water and an alligator came out of no where. They fought the alligator, but they couldn't get their son in-time. So instead of being a jackass saying it was the parents fault maybe look at the park instead
+Elana Hochbaum it's not a nature news piece, it's a story on another greedy Corporation trying to take the easy way out(in this case by not putting up a fence or not chastising patrons who feed the gators.)
+uninspired Gators can get through fences. If you go to Disney world in Florida you shouldn't be feeding the gators. All I'm saying is this is their home and humans have taken up space in it.
I'm not 'murican but I know that Florida equals alligators, and there were even warning signs, but the parents still let their kid play in the water... Wtf?
+BieberIsMyLife Muslims don't kill people out of necessity, just because they can. At least the alligator had some reason to kill a person, even if it isn't one that's very good to us.
Exactly. The zoos and Disney parks you see don't focus on spending money on safety, and can save a buck by putting a half assed fence or caution sign there. In the story about the kid falling in the gorilla place in the zoo, the zoo failed a safety inspection in that area and refused to fix it in time, and over here all there was is a sign saying "Please do not swim" and "do not feed alligators". In my opinion not only should there by higher stronger fences but they should put salt or salt water in there since alligators can only tolerate salt for short periods of time.
putting salt into the water to ward off gators would also hurt the non agressive and innocent freshwater fish, ducks and turtles that also live in the waters of Disney. salting the lake is a very bad idea.

Auckland357 Well, they can't do that but they should've known that building on a swamp wasn't the best idea either.
Josh Bray All of Florida used to be swamps... Up until this point, the gators weren't a problem. They still aren't because they're afraid of people until people start feeding them. Which Disney tells people not to, but for whatever reason they think it's cute to do.
Shrek isn’t gonna be happy when he finds out there’s an alligator in his swamp...
Haha 😂
Id like to see peta explain this one
haha for real
so we can or cant eat the children? said the alligator. my cousin sonny told me it was okay, but only sometimes and only at night.
So dangerous, if necessary to build the fences ?
Not actually that dangerous.
Wow! I knew my dreams meant something! I’ve had many nightmares of gators being in splash mountain, and then I fall out of the log and get eaten..
it was the parents fault not Disney there was a sign warning people about gators and to not swim in the water yet they let their two year old put his feet in??
There was a sign that said no swimming, But there was no warning signs about alligators, And they weren't swimming they were just standing in very shallow water less than 1 foot deep, And I've seen pictures of other kids playing in the water in that same spot.
+MrRedskins0021 It doesn't matter, it still says no swimming. Period.
BroImLeandre They weren't swimming they were standing in ankle deep water, And a lot of kids do that there
+mega_star
Thats actually one of the most dangerous places to be as thats where gators hunt. Watch any docu, they attack from shallow water. Yes Disney shouldn't have such an area open to the public, this was bound to happen but parents really do need to take precautions as these incidents keep proving that the park, zoos, etc will not.
The Dynast Queen They should've had it fenced off then, and had signs warning of the danger, because most of the people staying at that hotel aren't from Florida, And I've seen video's and pictures of other kids playing is that same exact spot, One lady even said her kid was playing in that same spot twenty minutes before that happened,
Gators go where gators go
IT'S FLORIDA!!! WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?!?
Ive lived in Tampa Florida for 10 years and ive never seen an alligator in the wild.
You should really get out more.
I'll skin that gator to make leather.
+christian jaramillo what you said makes absolutely no sense...
Haha, I guess not to you
The alligator had no intent in harming the child because it could but because it was its natural instinct
I'm sure you'd make a tasty snack for him lmao.
would you really say that to yourself if you were being bitten and tortured to death by an alligator. No you would be screaming, and trying to get anything to get that monster off you, even if you had to kill it
Stop feeding the aligators.
omg!! it's a gator, God help us against this attack from prehistoric creatures ( sarcasm)
that disney employee should get a medal
let me guess, this is in america right?
Naww its Antarctica... Boy 💀💀
Well, Disney World IS only in America... so obviously it was in Asia.
+Hugo Filipe Wow, someone's a little bit triggered today, huh? Cry about it some more m8.
+Hugo Filipe I actually developed cancer from your spelling. 4/10
Name the state
Well I'm not going to be taking my kids there anymore.
I'm scared of alligators
Same
Pussy.
OOOOOOOOOHHH!!!!
+Stopmotion Saurus not funny bro
It's obvious gators just want in on DisneyWorld's fun attractions.
It’s like Florida is actually a swampland! *WHO KNEW*
Gators have all the Fritos and toddlers they could possibly want. They not leaving. Get bigger sticks my dudes.
Who tf left their kid unattended to get eaten by a gator in the first place? Bad parenting.
The parents were right next to the child when it got attacked. The alligator grabbed the kid faster then the parents could react and they tried to stop the alligator but it was to strong and to quick.
+OG Frost dumbass the kid was not in the water he was snatched and draged into it
+Bruce Wayne difference between having kid in water or on land being eaten by gator? land is worse, they aren't as stealthy on land as in water = less attention on the kid.
An alligator is sneaky and strikes swiftly. If you don't know how someone can get snatched by an alligator you obviously have no common sense.
+Tatayana R. They had no control over it. He went to play in the water and an alligator came out of no where. They fought the alligator, but they couldn't get their son in-time. So instead of being a jackass saying it was the parents fault maybe look at the park instead
Now I don't know if I want to go on Splash Mountain anymore
ok, this is a tragedy, but I'm kind of sick of hearing about NATURE on the news
Yeah how about more KARDASHIANS amiright people???
I don't like hearing about them either, I think it's being over-announced. It's not news anymore!
+Israel Bissell ha-ha
+Elana Hochbaum it's not a nature news piece, it's a story on another greedy Corporation trying to take the easy way out(in this case by not putting up a fence or not chastising patrons who feed the gators.)
+uninspired Gators can get through fences. If you go to Disney world in Florida you shouldn't be feeding the gators. All I'm saying is this is their home and humans have taken up space in it.
I'm not 'murican but I know that Florida equals alligators, and there were even warning signs, but the parents still let their kid play in the water... Wtf?
Obama is gonna want to ban alligators now
You mean make adjustments to prevent gator related deaths like Disney should be doing but as this video shows refuses to do
+Mr. Dank and the gators will pay for the wall
but that would be racist. he would also have to ban crocodiles
You mean trump? He's the one wanting to ban Muslims
+BieberIsMyLife Muslims don't kill people out of necessity, just because they can. At least the alligator had some reason to kill a person, even if it isn't one that's very good to us.
that's a tiny gator!! reach down n pick it up
WTF IT SHOULDNT EVEN BE THERE this is a god damn childrens park
Jose B. we stole a man made lagoon from alligators?
it's alligator territory you moron.
***** thank you it makes sense now but they can still put a stop to it easily but obviously they dont want to spend the money
The Gator did not like being booped with a stick
shoking video title showing someone trying to attract youtubers to see his 😑 video....😷😢
Not youtubers viewers* and its called click bait
+OCON yes viewers, but youtubers is a used word, so it's correct don't u think? and it's almost the same sense in my sentence no?! and for clickbait a new word in my vocabulary that i have to erase after hav read it's meaning... :p

+Jeb Kush do we both fall in the trap ?? hahaha 😱😁
We're back in medieval times. Now the castle has gators LITERALLY surrounding it lol 😂😂
Our family stay at a Sheraton resort out side of the Disney gates located in FL. On the first morning we encountered a poisonous snake, then the day after we actually saw a large constricting snake of some sort swimming in the pond right next to our room. Called the number that is posted in your room that says to call if you encounter any snakes. The came out both times and was only able to get the by the balcony.
Gator:
Rounds 2,3,4
Uh oh! Look out! There is a 2.5 foot alligator on the loose! Everybody run for their lives!!!
This is the equivalent of throwing mud at Pokemon in the safari zone
