Nice work fella. Just the way I've been doing it for 20 years😬. The only thing I do different is put the nogging in and door heads in when I'm knocking the wall together on the floor. 🔨🔨
@@ashleydavenport3794 keep it full mate and cut sole plates out after. An all the left over timber goes into a big bag for my log burner bounces of been a joiner I guess😂
Do you find it easier to build them on the floor? I've been doing the Sole plate first then using a laser to put the top plate on for years then infill the studs, always wondered what way is quickest but never even bothered to build them on the floor 😂
I’m not to sure, I know more and more people are using lasers and filling the legs in after. I suppose it doesn’t matter to much as the end product is the same. But I’m the same I’ve never tried your technique 🤣. Be good to compare the 2!!
I build the wall on the deck. I've also tried the infill method. I just find the infill method very physical on the body up and down cut repeat. For speed I found that they wasn't much in it to be honest
@@ashleydavenport3794 The more I watched I saw there was no bulkhead above and behind the staircase hahaha yeah they're all 'copy & paste' houses man 😂
Nice job 👍
Good to see
Very neat and tidy
Well impressed ✅
Bloody lovely work
Wish the timber we get supplied on site was this straight spend half my time searching through the timber to find straight stuff😂
Hahaha tell me about it! Feel like it’s got loads worse recently too! They are just sending out anything 🤣🤣😩
Nice work Ash!
Keep that nath going lad, keep up the good work
Great job Ashley.🤩 Nice to see you use a, 'noggin stick', to put your centre noggins in.👍 Quickest way I reckon.🤩
Yess best method! Need to angle the top edges to get it out easier like you do! 👌
@@ashleydavenport3794 Top man.👍

Ahhh nice! Do you keep the bottom plate full and cut that off when it’s in place?

Plasterboard ceiling first ?
Yeah then studs then they dot and dab block walls
I think he means don't they tack the ceiling before u first fix save a lot of noggins and they board a ceiling in an hour or so
He will be Scottish. Up there the chippys have to do the plaster boarding aswell so they board the ceiling and then build walls.
Good work btw. I stick build but have thought of giving this way a go, just seems more work to me.
@@dennykavanagh2785 ahhh, goood job i dont have todo that! hah just loads of catch nogs for the plasterers haha 👌
