Antoine Dufour is hands down the cleanest player I have EVER seen live. I have been going to shows for years and years now. No one I mean NO ONE touches his clean playing IMO. Going to order a Spider Capo today too!!! Can't wait. What a piece of awesomeness!!!!

Especially the 0:30-0:44 part really reflects that feeling perfectly, It's like a slightly obsessive yet loving focus on the picture of whom you're waiting for while you're standing by the trainstation waiting for the train to arrive. Then it develops into a fairly long daydream after which the original feeling returned to in the end. Waiting - with love and anticipation.
the musicians on CandyRat are the prime example or evidence that humanity is one consciousness..there artist of the same heart playing for the moment seemingly apart,but make a unified whole that is truly divine..hopefully each & everyone sees there reflection when they listen & look..because they are you..realising this is just a matter of time...much love :)
When I see that Antoine Dufour has a new video I know before I watch it that it will be full of emotion, musicallity and "out of this world" technique. And I am never wrong! It is a pity he is not popular in Greece and I don't have the chance to see him live..

Wow there was so much consistency throughout this entire song. There was always something happening, without it being overbearing. Antoine Dufour is absolutely incredible.
When you hit the strings hard and mute them immediately after, the strings above that white bar ring a little bit. The rag stops that. Actually kinda nice in certain situations.
I think that the dislikes are intentional and come from people who ACTUALLY LOVE THESE TUNES like MAD... they just wanna see how rebellious music lovers act on the dislikes ..so the purpose is again to MAKE PEOPLE REALIZE how good this music is . Cheers.

Ahhhhh I've been waiting for this one to come out on youtube, since so long. Since April to be precise, when I had the chance to see him perform live. Can you imagine? The first time I heard this song it was right a few feets in front of me. This song is so heart touching, as Antoine has many songs (a lot) that sounds beautiful, or else cool and groovy, this one is definetly my favorite. I am really honored to be from Quebec just as Antoine is. I'll go see him perform again on september 29th.

@solarnoelar The cloth helps prevent the strings up in the tuning area from making a "vrinnnggggg" noise every time he strums hard. The strings vibrate all the way through, even past the nut of the guitar. Since the pickup is so sensitive to any vibration or noise, the cloth keeps the strings from vibrating up near the nut and cancels out any of that high pitched sound.
