I’m doing a full review, first impressions and a 2 day wear test of this new L'Oreal True Match Foundation. The look came out really nice!! I really need to try this foundation! I always go with neutral because it seems like anytime I use a different undertone I look orange or like an umpa lumpa🤣🤣 but seriously that's a nice foundation. And I tried the way you put foundation on first with rubbing it on the skin omg my skin looked nice! Thank you and I started following you on IG I reactivated it ☺️❤️

Hey hun. Uggh, I hate when the shades look too warm. That happened to me with the IL MAKIAGE foundation. Your hair and makeup looked great both days. The lipstick wasn’t too light for you at all. I love them nude shades. It would definitely be interesting to see the old vs new foundation side by side 👍. Btw, at the time, Huda’s setting powder in the shade Banana Bread was sold out and I wanted to check out a yellow tinted powder badly. So, I ended up buying Beauty Bakerie’s setting powder in the shade Cassava (yellow). I already received it and can’t wait to try it out🥰💙.

How can I know if my foundation is silicone or water. I thought that if a foundation’s first ingredient was aqua/water then that meant it was water based. Is that right or am I supposed to look at a few more ingredients?

Hey Magdaline. I was totally thrown off when you stated that the foundation was silicone based, as water listed as the first ingredient would be considered water based. I checked out L’Oréal Paris’ website and it’s confirmed as a water based product. This is copy and pasted from their website: “L’Oréal Paris True Match Super Blendable Makeup
You may not want to pick a side - when it comes to foundation finishes, that is. If you prefer a natural finish, turn to this water-based foundation. Hola! it’s based the 1st few ingredients. Just because the 1st one is water doesn’t mean it’s a water based as I’ve learned ! The ingredients list has silicone based more than water based ingredients ☺️
Hey Magdaline. I totally get it😊. However, L’Oréal does classify it as one of their water-based products🤷♀️. Now you have me wondering if all cosmetic companies base their products solely on the first ingredient🤔.
