I’m doing a full review, first impressions and a 2 day wear test of this new Revlon ColorStay Longwear Foundation. Revlon colorstay foundation was the 1st foundation I used as a young teenager in the 90s 😱 still love it today ❤️

I am 39 years old and I cant believe I found this foundation just now when I could have had perfect base all these years...I've tried so many foundations and after a few hours I get shiny face with creasing and the foundation sinking into my pores and makes them look huge. I could not believe my eyes when after 12 hours of wearing revlon foundation it looked as perfect as when I applied it! Totally matte,even, no pores and not a crease in sight. Amazing!! I am blown away.

YES!!! This foundation works best without primer. If you have oily skin add a thin layer of powder before applying foundation. I usually mix a drop of argon oil with the foundation. I work in a outdoor restaurant in Hawaii and this foundation wears very well during my hot ass late afternoon shifts. I blot and keep it going.

Why is this foundation better without primer??
@@catherine520 I have no idea why but multiple people on youtube have stated this and also from my own experience. I tried it without and it just works better. Save your money and just use it without primer. It lasts an entire shift for me in the Hawaii weather while sweating at an outside restaurant.
@@catherine520 the formula is that good it doesn't need any "help". Revlon foundations are the only ones that go undetectable on my skin and wear all day. I never use face primers.
What does the powder do on the face before applying the foundation?

I haven’t worn Revlon Foundation since high school. I did try it again a few years ago but it irritates my skin. I would love to try the new formula hopefully it works out for me. The coverage looks pretty on you💕

I use the same shade. I use my fingers to apply. I find the warmth from my hands melts it into my skin just perfectly. I am 48, and this foundation makes my skin so beautiful. I have been wearing this foundation since the 90s.
I'll never give up my colorstay. Ive tried high end and always go back. Theyre going back towards the old formula which was amazing

I used to only use the original one for many yrs,then they changed it in and it wasnt the same. Just bought another bottle, been 10-11yrs later, going to give ita try. Used to love the original one
Yes girl 👏🏻 foundation was looking so good. Also no primer testing is helpful. Some people don’t use primer. I do lol my oily skin needs it 😅

I own the old formula of this, and is sooo long wearing and smooth. It is a tiny bit cakey than the newers foundations that are more aimed to "skin like looking", but otherwise, amazing foundation. And it is buildable too! 😃

Was your sponge damp when applying on day2? I never know whether to use one dry or damp.
Is the green version of this primer water or silicone? And the foundation is water or silicone based?
The revlon colorstay oily/combo is my HG. It lasts ALL day and looks so skinlike. Sometimes I wonder if it’s faded because how natural it looks, but then I wash it off and it becomes apparent that it was still very much there. It’s the only foundation that controls my oily tzone and even after a sweaty hot day it never breaks up. Also doesn’t cling to my dry patches. It’s a miracle in a bottle.

You know I'm not going to buy this but you also know I had to watch, lol. The foundation looked great both days but I agree. 2nd day was better. I couldn't believe you didn't have to build up on your hyperpigmentation yet you still got great coverage using the brush in thin layers. And your oils. Where?? I love seeing products live up to their claims. Great review as always... 💜

I like that shade, very little oils came through, loved day 2 without primer. Very beautiful. I think your nails and eyebrows look great. Have you tried the new Revlon Colorstay Matte Lite Crayon.( Lipstick 💄) They are brand new. I picked up the shade "Clear the Air". I really like it. Can you try them? Not "Gastada" a very good makeup day.👍❗
