I had a HUGE smile on my face with the GRAND Tour of such a wonderfully charming park! I can easily see this as a multi day destination park especially with a hotel. Surely on MY bucket list! You also had me @ "pancakes!" This would be like my funnel cake "fix".
Totally agree with this review. I also agree with what you say about food at least within the parks themselves, although the hotel resort restaurants I think are outstanding (including a Michelin starred restaurant!)
I went in October 2019 as part of a trip that included running the Berlin Marathon and going to Octoberfest. It was AMAZING and I am obsessed with getting back there. They had great Halloween decorations, the Halloween song was a bop, and their haunt event was bananas with multiple themed houses that tied together into one storyline (and an accompanying comic book)
one of the best theme parks and places in the world indeed. Togheter with Efteling & Phantasialand, this is the best park in Europe. Disneyland will be outstanding when the Studio park gets his things +- 2025. If anyone is reading this and has not visited this park, you will NOT be disappointed!! Great review btw, it’s indeed a phenomenal park
The one thing that stuck out to me was how tightly packed the rides were compared to the visitors. It maybe considered claustrophobic to some or intimate to others or depending on your mood. Very unique. I hope to be able to go there one day!
You putting together all so well and detailed. Great video. You just forgot one thing: Voletarium - The flying theatre has a ticket machine. You can pick a time ticket there and it shows you at which time you can ride this attraction without using the regular queue. Europa Park is also open until midnight in summer with fireworks and all the trimmings, even if only once. In addition, there are various parties and events in the park in the evening. Beach party in Portugal, summer night party in Iceland, etc. There is also a 4D cinema that you didn't mention (I think) You should definitely visit Europa Park on Halloween. There is a completely separate, huge area behind Poseidon. There are various scare houses and scare zones built with live actors. If you enter all of them, you end up on a big halloween Party. Defently worth visiting. Europa Park also organizes an extremely large number of TV events and competitions (Miss Germany) etc. live concerts with stars are also given. In addition, Europa Park has its own golf course and a camping resort next to the parking lot. You can spent a night there very cheap and it’s beautiful.
I got a tour of their Halloween area in 2017 and got to experience one haunted walkthrough in the Greece area. Voletarium didn't have the ticket system the days I was there in 2021. I saw it in 2017.
@@CanobieCoaster in the Greece area? The horror nights area are not in the park. It’s next to the park with a seperate entry. Idk if you mean the same, bcs there are some small walkthroughs in some areas in the park. But that’s not a huge deal. No it’s a huge Halloween event. The ticket system was and is still by voletarium. May you missed it.
The summer midnight opening is very busy with a lot of parents and little children. But the children are very tired and the parents do not want to leave. so kids get annoying. That's why I don't go that day, but rather 2 other days.
You have to stay in the Kronasar Museum hotel! The theming is fantastic and it have some great bars and restaurants. The premier entrance to Rulantica is also nice. This is the best hotel of the resort in my upon ion!
See in RCDB: Matterhorn Blitz at Europa Park. It said: The Matterhorn Blitz uses a vertical lift system that lifts 2 cars at a time rather than a traditional lift hill. Otherwise it is the same as a standard Mack built Wild Mouse (large park) model. So imagine trying again those other installations: Fly at Canada's Wonderland Apple Zapple (formerly Ricochet) at Kings Dominion Technic Coaster at Legoland California Coast Rider at Knott's Berry Farm What would you think between the four?
I love Europa Park. If the food hasn't wowed you yet, then you've not eaten the right food. Lol. Seriously, next time you are there you have to try the Flammlachs in Iceland. Also the Asian restaurant Bamboe Baai is fantastic and you get to sit in that final section of Piraten en Batavia.
I've tried Don Quixote, Hotel Coloseo's restaurant, a fish shop in Scandinavia, plus a few others. It's decent. The poffertjes are the one standout for me.
@@CanobieCoaster I will be sure to track those down next time I'm there. Trust me on the Flammlachs though, if you like salmon they are amazing. The kiosk is only open Wednesday through Sunday though so I plan around that now 😋
Europa Park feels magical in the same way that Alton Towers & Drayton Manor did when I was growing up... I'm not sure if it's me getting older or the operations in these UK parks are less good in these cost-saving times, but whilst these parks have lost their shine for me, Europa Park reminded me of those childhood feelings. If I'm being honest, I'm not sure any of their coasters stand out as a top-20 level coaster. I'd like to see them address this with another non-Mack offering like an RMC or top Intamin coaster, but maybe the Big Dipper will be better than I think. From what they have got, Silver Star & Wodan are decent, I really liked the EuroSat re-theme and the Arthur ride system is unmatched for a family coaster. Coaster collection aside though, operations here are second to none, the food is generally excellent, the theming is on point - ok, the queues can get long but they're mitigated by the fast operations, and I had excellent experiences with their virtual queue app thing on my last visit. The staff all seem to care, and the place is super clean. All in all, a super well run park and I'll no doubt be revisiting this place many times!
Thanks for the grate Video of one of my favorite Parks. The Jungle Boatride in Advantureland has been rethemed but it is not finished jet. Europapark stated that they will retheme the Ride and the whole Land in two Phases. Phase 1 is finished with only the Boat ride changed but the Boats are still the old ones. It opend to Guests at March 19. as Josefinas Kaiserliche Zauberreise. The second Phase will be done in the Offseason of 2022/2023 and with it the Land will be completely rethemed to Austria and the Station of Josefinas Kaiserliche Zauberreise will also be replaced with an much bigger Building that also houses a Restaurant and the Boatride will get another Layer of Theming. Regarding your point about the shows, unfortunately you've seen the one show that isn't particularly good and doesn't have subtitles. Almost all other shows have screens with english and french subtitles.
Hey man, just curious what is the loose article policy in Europa Park? As a bespectacled enthusiast who is going to invest on a pair of pivothead sunglasses for my future theme park visits, I’m not sure if Europa Park is one of those parks who are flexible with their guests’ loose articles. You should do a video on the loose article policy in the theme parks you visited over the years and some tips for fellow enthusiasts if they want to record good quality POVs of the rides as well as stuff they should be aware of! Just a suggestion!
For clarification about the title: The park is not "Mack Rides Owned" But "Mack Owned", same as Mack Rides is also owned by the Mack family. Besides that, stellar video as always!
By far one of the best parks in Germany. Mack haven, literally like a KFC chicken bucket but it's of Mack coasters instead, that's what this park is. Besides Silver Star, Wodann, and Blue Fire, you would probably expect a park with so many attractions to have a few more major thrill rides but that's definitely not the only thing that makes this place.
If I were to spend two days in Europa Park and one day at Rulantica (keeping in mind that I can spend a full day in most waterparks), do you think that would be a good plan?
This park definitely looks like one of the best in the world, but I do wish they would build something like DC Rivals here because then they would have a better standout coaster. Silver Star looks great, but many other parks have great B&M hypers.

Oh ok thanks. I did see they rethemed the boat ride. Didn't realize they changed the whole area.
