I used to bike ride with my dad from Winnetka to Wilmette. When i brought my hubsand up here, he enjoys the bike trails because we rode from Winnetka to Kenosha and back one time. We also bike ride to Downtown Evanston when he pulled his car into my parents driveway.
More than half of your video is shot on North Evanston blocks across Isabella street from Wilmette. And your closing shot is in a business/rail section of Evanston which does not reflect Wilmette. It would be more helpful to show more of the neighborhoods, lakefront and harbor (not the Marina) . If you would like more info that I can help you with, I was a resident of WIlmette for over 25 years and grew up in Evanston.
Thanks for watching and the comment! This was really just a walk around the neighborhood and giving some good info about Wilmette, not really meant to be an official tour. Honestly, I just kept walking and talking. I have also been in the area for most of my life. Say hi if you ever see me around!
"Safe" but maybe not always comfortable. Chicagoland IL, even in wealthy areas, will be safer than many many other states. But you'll find people who are racist and don't realize it, or racist and don't admit it. Lots of democrats who have some conservative thinking.
@@thepaulgorney I live in Mass. I visited the Chicago area a few years back. I drove up to Justice and visited Resurrection Cemetery in hopes of seeing Chicago's most famous ghost, "Resurrection Mary," to no avail. Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to visit Wilmette at the time.
Do you have a specific question or comment about Wilmette?

Wasn't the movie "Home Alone" shot in Wilmette?
Yes, Trinity Episcopal Church on Lake Street in Wilmette. It was also filmed in Winnetka. Do you live close by?
