I love how clean and crisp everything is - no clutter. The only thing I would question is hanging heavy draperies in a cigar lounge. Odor would be absorbed by all that fabric, but maybe either the client likes that or the house comes with 100 cases of Febreze. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

Impressive height in the space for sure. And the best neighborhood downtown (I'm biased I used to live at 1 W Superior) I'd be sold just on Lifetime and Whole Foods in the building. One Chicago is on par with the Park Hyatt or Four Seasons condo units in the hotels.

Nice house but so many of these real estate channels need a map of where Chicago is lol.

South Loop is amazing. Have lived in the area for 10 years. Nowhere near as congested as other neighborhoods in the city, which lends itself to easy parking for residents and guests. It seems ignorance persists about the area, which is what actually depresses the prices. But this is from people that spend little or no time in the neighborhood. And anyone saying the crime is higher is out of touch. There is a full police precinct on 16th & State. Hidden gems abound. Appreciate you shining the light on the area.

Hi, I love the lights over the island. If the client loves the home that's all that matters. I'm sure if some of the ppl who commented that the house lacks "class" were to share their home on social media they'll find that a ton of ppl will say the same or worse about their home. What one considers class the next may consider not esthetically pleasing to their eyes because we are all different. Peace and blessings.

If I lived in Chicago I would choose someplace like Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square or Ravenswood Manor. Outside, Hinsdale is a goid choice but Inlike Riverside.

Love to have a modest, older home there (older the better).

I heard the Asian community is slightly bigger in lake forest than Wilmette and winnetka, is it true? I’m still getting to know better and it’s been hard to decide between them, and now I’m even interested in glencoe but I’m not sure, I would like to build a house from zero closer to the lake with some adjustments regarding our cultural background but I might end getting more impatient and just buy something that’s on the market already

Grew up in Evanston and then moved to Charlotte 20 years ago. In an ideal world I would love to live there again one day but it’s so expensive. After living down here I doubt I could ever come back. Sometimes though…I miss Sheridan road like an old friend.

You're the best Mr. Paul. Thank you for your opinion of my hometown. My mom and dad would not move from Winnetka to Indiana Dunes with me and my hubsand at all. Winnetka is home to them. Amazing restaurants in the Downtown Winnetka and Hubbard Woods part.
