Airbnb has allowed me to stay in Paris, Kauai, Hawaii and Spain for an affordable price. None or these trips would have been affordable due to the high cost of accommodations. My significant other and I do NOT do drugs. We respect the local people. And, we bring money into the local economy with what we like to spend it on: fun activities, food, and souvenirs. Hotels are too expensive for us and too impersonal in my opinion. Airbnb is a great option for travellers but if it is are not being used for tourists, then I agree with you: those should totally be shut down!!!
Woohoo. This was the best tiny house in a desert. My favorite part was the outdoors bedroom. When I was little, we used to sleep on the terrace in summers & I used to fall asleep stargazing. This just brought back memories! Thanks for sharing the wonderful cabin with us.

Great place to stay! Luxury stargazing! 🌠🌠🌠 As a teen my siblings and I used to sleep on the ground in our sleeping bags at night, especially on nights when there would be a lot of falling stars we could watch for. 🌌🌠 This would be a definite upgrade to that experience. lol

And yeah, the stargazing bedroom is so wonderful. I would probably fall down the ladder, but that's worth it.😂 I like the backyard, too. The fire place, the hammocks and the outdoor shower. I live in the desert and although I love the industrial look I can't imagine using metal for building material on the outside. Seems like it would just keep the heat or cold more than other materials.
Its the opposite, metal doesn't isolate well at all so it keeps almost no heat or cold. But since it doesn't isolate it's prob gonna make the inside of the house heat up faster when it's hot outside making the ac less efficient, and the opposite when it's cold.
I love the comment that there's no bugs because us women don't like bugs but you're absolutely correct that place is amazing...should have known..only seen one of 2 video's you have done where you weren't happy...the mansion videos hysterical...so i agree this place is absolutely beautiful

Wow just wow. The whole space was something to see but the star gazing bedroom was gamazing. The long skinny windows in the main building were on my covered porch that wrapped around one end and corner of the first tiny house I built. It gave it caracter. I'm on number 3 and keeping it. I'm running out of mistake money. Lol. This was another amazing place. Out in the dessert,so secluded. I love spots like these. Thanks,I hope you and your wife enjoyed your stay. Did either of you use the very expensive telescope,it was a nice one. I noticed that before anything in the room. Thanks alot,Levi. It was great spot. UFO get ya way out in that dessert. LMAO!
Nice place. I saw pictures of this elsewhere and the cactus garden on the deck used to be a bathtub. Maybe it took up too much water but it looked pretty refreshing.
The designer/builder seems to have thought of everything; off grid smart home tech. The buildings blend in with the surroundings & look almost abandoned. It is all really nice. Yes, the stargazing bedroom gets my vote, too. However, I would install a retractable roof when not in use. The telescope is a nice addition. There may not be insects, but I bet there are lots of creepy, crawly things in the sand. No thanks. Another great video, Levi & Savannah. Thanks for sharing. Take care, stay safe. Blessings
Yes, I love this idea of the open sky bedroom in the desert! However, having lived in the desert, a couple of points to consider: Sand - mists of sand even with light breezes and sometimes veritable sand storms. Even with a regular house during regular days, sad/dust is constantly accumulating in the house if windows are left open. Also, wouldn't there be dew during the night? Not a lot, perhaps but it does exist. Those things are not deal breakers for this beautiful bedroom design,but some kind of retractable roof would be nice. Love this house! The magical beauty of Joshua Tree and the comfort of that house...fantastic!
If only a way to negotiate for the handicapable...ie, elevator idea...maybe someday and exterior device to negate for wheelchair or ltd physical capable. Love the whole concept. Hammocks are one of my fav features too♥️
118f (47c) is not that hot. Where I live in SA that temp is often reached in Summer during the rainy season. When visiting Morocco in July a while back we recorded a 65c at midday. What is in the area under the stargazer room with the large double doors

Nice. What's under the outside bedroom with the barn doors.? Also, the outside bedroom I think instead of being completely open to the elements, they should have closed it off with some clear plexiglass.
well the whole point is for it to be outside and open to the elements. the only element they have to really worry about is heat. although for those 3 inches of rain i hope they have some kind of curtain or tarp to cover it up.

The total best thing about this place is definitely the view and the stargazer bedroom and hammocks 😁 and the next best thing is it's odd grid 😃
