OL was solid? Purdy has to run for his life nearly every play and his receivers don’t get open

Also Mason might have the same yards as CMC but he is not a red zone or passing threat like CMC. That’s what makes CMC so special. He is unstoppable in the red zone and is a big passing threat
Wright (new backup kicker) went down as well, stepping in for Moody. He hurt his arm making a tackle on a kickoff. They signed him on Tuesday, and this was his first NFL game ever, and he had a good game. Made all his FGs and XPs.

I think the playcalling in the redzone has been sus. Mason should be able to score down there with how powerful of a runner he is. I don't think we've been running it enough down there. We've seen flashes of Mason making some catches out of the backfield, I think we should use him more like that too, maybe not to the extent of CMC but definitely more, cause he can do it.

Seahawks will be looking for a QB for the future in the draft this year, 100%. Not that Geno is bad. He's pretty solid (usually), but he's 34. The NFL is a business and there are a ton of really good college QBs coming out this year. Anybody who is showing their age and/or not doing great as a QB, has their job on the line.
College QBs coming out this year: Ewers, Dart, Beck, Shedeur, Gabriel, MIlroe, Ward, Allar... and those are just the big school guys. You still have guys like Rourke (Indiana), Morris (North Texas), Castellanos (Boston College) etc. Crazy QB year.

Folks not gonna admit it but they miss Steve Wilks coaching that defense
Truly a shame. Another year under Wilks with these rookies they have in the secondary would have been interesting to watch.
I wouldn't say miss him at all, instead I would say defenses take time to implement. You can't expect a new coordinator to come in and just have the defense at an all time high. Like niners have lost a bunch of dc's over the years. That always ruins the flow. Look at the chiefs, had the same d coordinator for so long, where as niners lose one like every other year since they become a Head Coach. Now for Wilks, he was terrible last year. That SuperBowl game was a enough for him to get fired. We literally needed a stop and win the SuperBowl, 4th and 5 and no QB spy on Mahomes??? Also the all out blitz?? Nah he's definitely not missed. It's more niner fans need to understand it takes longer for the coordinator to get in the flow of things than just 5 games.
