The outrage is deafening when Israel is involved in a conflict, yet when Saudi Arabia-a U.S. ally-starves and slaughters over 400,000 Yemenis, the silence is almost eerie. You won’t see mass protests or calls for a ceasefire. You won’t see flags waving in solidarity for the Yemeni dead. I'm a white, mildly right of centre, septuagenarian Christian. I've visited Israel often and have close acquaintances there. I cannot condone the blatant muders of massive numbers of childen and civilians being inflicted by Israeli forces in the occupied territories and in sovereign countries adjacent to Israel. If ANY other country did what Israel is doing, the US would be leading the call for global sanctions on it. 😢

When Mr Coates says the Israeli soldier asked him what his religion was, he deduces that the soldier is asking about his ancestry. And that the question is racist. Does Mr Coates believe that the soldier was raised in the American south? Did Mr Coates ever consider that the soldier was trying to determine if he may have been of a religious persuasion that has malicious intentions toward Jews? Humans require A Lagape Paradigm!

    • @KOKAYI69

The ethos you are describing focuses on the **inherent worth and dignity of all human beings**, regardless of gender, recognizing that both **men and women** are intrinsically **Precious, Important, and Valuable (VIPz)**. This ethos can be built on **three central pillars**:
      ### 1. **Inherent Dignity (Precious)**
      - Every human being, regardless of their background, gender, or status, holds an intrinsic value that cannot be diminished or overlooked. This pillar emphasizes the **preciousness** of life itself, ensuring that each person is treated with **respect** and **care**. It speaks to the idea that every individual has unique qualities and contributions that make them irreplaceable.
      ### 2. **Equality of Importance**
      - This pillar affirms that every human, whether male or female, is equally **important** to the fabric of society. It promotes **gender equality** and reinforces the notion that the role or contributions of any individual are not secondary to others. The ethos upholds **equal opportunity** and recognition for both men and women to thrive and contribute in all aspects of life-family, career, leadership, and more.
      ### 3. **Universal Value**
      - The idea that every individual carries inherent **value** (VIPz) that extends beyond what they do or accomplish. This pillar promotes **self-worth** and **mutual respect** for others. It cultivates an environment where people are valued for their **inner humanity**, not just external achievements or societal roles. Both men and women are encouraged to see themselves and each other as **valuable**, capable of shaping a better future for themselves and their communities.
This ethos essentially calls for a **universal respect** for life, where every human being is regarded as a **VIP**, fostering a culture of **caring, cooperation**, and recognition of **shared humanity**. It empowers individuals to respect their own worth and the worth of others, forming the foundation for a more inclusive, compassionate, and just world.
