- Check out these highlights from Frank Gore Jr.'s 329-yard performance in the LendingTree Bowl against Rice. Gore becomes the first FBS running back with 300 rushing yards and a passing touchdown in a game since Darren McFadden in 2007 for Arkansas against South Carolina and sets the record for most rushing yards in Bowl Game history.

Coming from a 49ers fan, he runs like his pops
gonna have fumble issues like his dad also if he dont keep that ball safe
The most underrated RB of all time
@@masonmcconnell9375 ...Frank didn't have fumble issues
@@jaleru early in his career yes he did I watched frank with the 49ers all 11 seasons never missed a game he fumble the ball a decent amount when he cleaned that up is when he went off and the rest is history
@@jaleru always got to be someone to tear someone down...
That boi running like his pops. Real patient, strong and making all the right cuts. Do your thang JR. It’s your time to shine!!!
After such a great performance, i wonder if he transfers to a bigger program.
He was giving number 8 that work all night
Crazy work
Spun him all the way around
Mad work 😂
Number 8? He cool. Crazy work!!!
No fr
That young man deserves to play on the NFL level. Running back special teams... something! Give him a shot!
49ers drsft him
he’s only a sophomore
Dude, he just broke a rushing record in Div 1 football and is only a sophmore.
He'll be drafted. I PRAY he ends up on the 49ers.
@@ChaserPlayzz no he not bro he a junior but he's returning for his senior year
Looks good but you can tell he needs to bulk up or have better ball handling skills, got lucky with those fumbles. NFL caliber defense would eat him up.
Very good way to put the world on notice. Stay healthy young man.
Helped by some bad tackling. Player #3 on Rice out of position, giving up a 40 yard run. On the last run, #2 should have tackled Gore a 20 yard gain but completely whiffed... turned into a long TD
@@veryslyfox maybe from a part time defensive coordinator’s perspective. But the caption the yards had it been against the Mexico City rattlesnakes it’s standout
@@marcuskey4996 part time defensive coordinator 😂
@@veryslyfox You don’t rush for 329 yards with luck alone.
@@jeffelmore5614 😂I wasn’t tryna be funny but I laughed at that when I read it myself
Gives me chills, man his dad is my favorite running back of all time. Looks like the apple didn’t fall far from the tree
that's really cool seeing this mam go hard after watching his dad for all those years. bet his dad proud af.
Watched him work out with his pops and he got that same dawg in him. Glad he represents a school where I'm from
That was Gabriel Taylor (Sean Taylor younger Brother🙏🏿) he lowered the shoulder on.
Was looking for to mention this. #26. Crazy how things happen.
I'm finally old. Fun Fact, his Dad I are literally born four days apart (I'm older) and I'm lifelong 49er fan. How cool is that?!?!
Are you telling me a HOFer Jr just might be like his dad? RARE
Rice's defense is awful. Any running back could have run through those holes. Frank Gore Jr. is not very good. Why didn't Miami, FSU, or Florida recruit him? He's a nobody.
Well now he is a somebody after this performance lol
@@RobbieStacks90 stop hating on the young man. Let him have his moment hater. Not all HOF players went to big name schools
Marvin Harrison Jr. Is One of them
@@RobbieStacks90 No. No anybody cant.
Number 8 on rice was havin a long night
What an insanely Studley family. When you Frank Gore was in college I heard multiple people tell me he was the best natural running back they ever saw. In running back years, his career would be the equivalent if Brady played 30 years of quarterback.
I once read a scouting report that said, "Gore lacks the physical and emotional toughness to play in the NFL".
Lol. Literally one of the toughest players to ever play in both respects.
Absolutely. The craziest thing is he was a few steps faster before destroying both ACLs in college. Think of all his runs where he got caught after breaking away. Could’ve all been touchdowns if he still had his natural speed. One of my all time favorite players
I'm an FSU fan, hate Miami. Gore might be the most talented rb they ever had, tore acls in college so we never seen his "prime" in the nfl.
@@illphillllllll21what do you mean ? He’s like top 10-12 all time in rushing yards.
@@dezgarrett6082 he was more athletic in college pre acl tears then he was in the nfl, was that hard to comprehend?
This is an entire career worth of highlights for most other people.. His dad was so great and humble about it too.
329 yrds..wow, what an exciting player to watch... hope he succeeds at the next level
PLEASE Coach Kyle, PLEASE!!!!!!!! Keep it in the family and do whatever you have to do to DRAFT THIS YOUNG MAN 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 Have the same build as his HOFer father Frank Gore Sr., and has all the skills and raw talent/footwork as him too. With the right culture around being that his dad play with the Niners like, FOREVER and was the heart & soul of the team before we was back to our glory days and even when he left, he left a little piece of his greatness in San Francisco. Our running game will be back to unstoppable with Gore Jr. & Run CMC...
really same build as his father? He looks smaller and faster, but this video is the first time I've seen the kid so I honestly don't know his measurables
The fact that he is small and fast means Kyle likelihood drafting him shot up
He is a little shorter than Sr, but does kinda have that same stocky build. He has been phenomenal for us at USM. Last year when all of our QBs got hurt, we literally ran him as a quasi-QB. That’s why he has 8 career TD passes lol. He does it all
They traded their future to get McCaffery so not going to happen lol
@@derrickjoseph380 I was just about to say that. He will prolly back him up only because Elijah mitchell can’t stay healthy.
His best move was not following up behind his dad and going to the same college..set his own left with no pressure. If kelvin Taylor would have done that he still being playing today! He was a beast like his dad too
I like how you can tell his game comes from his dad with his own little twist to it he’s making his own path and adding some history to that name what a game
I’m loving it man nice to see Jr doing his pops proud
As a Commander fan this was awesome watching the Blood of Legends battle, Frank Gore Jr and Gabe Taylor (brother of Sean Taylor)#26 for Rice. Gore ate all game but Gabe had a few plays on him
Has patience for the blocks to setup just like his pops. Makes very good reads
Frank Gore Jr RB for South Miss and Sean Taylor brother Gabe Taylor safety for Rice wow Miami decendant legends
I wish both of them would enter the portal and go to the U together and have success there for a season.
@@daniel-isaacjames2167 yeah fr I wish gabe would transfer
Southern Miss really has a chance to thrive in the Sun Belt if they can put everything together. As for Gore Jr., this truly is a case of "Like father, like son!"
We’ve just gotta find a QB play. We were awful at QB this year. But we do have a Clemson transfer coming in so I’m optimistic for next year.
He need to go to Colorado
@@beanie3427 Exactly. This team could’ve been at minimum an 8-4 team with AVERAGE QB play.
Like Father, Like Son
How a 5-7 team in a bowl game
Bro that's EXACTLY what I said 😂. Like you should AT LEAST be .500. And im sure there was a .500 team that could have gotten the spot but there's probably some way they calculate that that I would know but it makes zero sense
@@DwayneIsK1NG if there were they're GPA was not up to par.
Two teams that were 6-6 were ineligible for having played two FCS teams this year (App State and Army). 7-5 is required for bowl eligibility in that case unless a waiver is granted (New Mexico State received one since they had to emergency schedule a game against a second FCS opponent after San Jose State canceled their game against them this year, and they ended up 6-6). Due to these two teams being ineligible, none with .500 records or better were left, so the 5-7 team with the best academic record was rewarded with the last bowl berth (which happened to be Rice). A REALLY weird year and chain of events.
Wow, what a performance, that pass? 10
I can’t stop watching it…. Super athletic with heart …
That lineman at the end was coming 😂
that dude was huge! thoguht he was gonna catch gore
He runs just like his dad i cant wait to see him on an NFL team
I swear the Niners better be keeping an eye on this guy! We need another Gore on the team. Literally just like his dad and would be a great addition. Keep it up young man!
He single handedly wore that entire defense out
Sheeesh...n threw a tuddy that's a bad man
Future 49er!
Kudos to that young man, huge fan of his pops.. salute ❤ hope u have a healthy and solid season 😊
Had that secondary on skates in the rain!
Sean Taylor’s young brother plays for Rice. #26
Welcome to Buffalo! We loved your dad, and we will hope to see you in action!
21 touches for 329 kid had himself a game. Fix the fumbles NFL he's on his way.
Dude was running mad was fun to watch
WOW!!GORE 21. JR.WORDS CANT EXPRESS THE WORDS .IM A 21 GORE FAN!!!GOT HIS JERSEY SINGED AND ALSO WENT TO CANDLESTICK THE LAST TIME BEFORE DEMOLITION AND WENT INTO THE NINERS LOCKER AND WENT STRAIGHT TO HIS SPOT AND SAT IN HIS CHAIR..LOVE IT GORE U ALWAYS AND FOR EVER BE UR 1 FAN. ASWELL AS G JR. I WILL FOLLOW HIM .CAUSE HE IS STUNNING LIKE HIS DADDY!!!!G 21!!!!
The last one was the best one
And that OL was going crazy that’s how you finish blocks 🔥
Frank Gore Jr gonna be special like his dad was
Very good patience and Vision as a runner just like his pops.
Like Father Like Son
Kids father is top notch at his position! But young blood is going to serve his dad's name well.
Love that #3
Clean!!!
Seeing ST26's younger brother and Frank Gore's son playing against each other is awesome 🙌🏿
Right!
I remember watching Frank Gore and Frank Gore Jr on a reality TV show but the passion he show for the game the way he looked at his father when he was teaching him I knew he was a real Football player. I happy he put it all together great performance. He is durable like his father. Definitely a chain mover will definitely play on Sundays. A great 3rd down back or a 1st down back automatic 5 with him. Great game Frank Gore Jr
He is small and light, mesurables that will make it difficult to star(t) in the nfl
His OL ate everything in the box...man didnt get touched til 6 yards...his cuts were amazing and so was his patients.
He might have his dad Beat on speed, but granted his pops if I'm not mistaken had two ACL injuries in college
Before those injuries the speed was like that
One in each knee
@@dwish5271 Wonder what his career would have been without those two injuries that often can be career ending for others.
@@joshjohnson2753 would've been more legendary than it was
Awesome RB. Its sure in his blood lol. Keeps legs driving and great vision. Might want to cover the ball up more but that can be taught.
Good power for his size decent speed. He can drive a pile w a teammate or 2.
He barley a sophomore he get better at that
Who’s the big man for rice that comes in at 4:55 and almost gets Gore from behind? Big man has some juice.
This dude goin to be crazy. You can teach that change of direction. Boy been workin
Hearing the announcer say "Gore" makes me feel like I'm back in 2005. I love it.
The power of genetics
Alright lil cuzzo!!
I remember watching this game earlier this year and I was amazed by this guys performance. Philly welcomes you if it all works out 👍
Weird how Mike Leach went from "abusive coach" to "likeable, best personality we had" by the media
Reminds me of Frank SR before the knee injuries
He is good at it.
He’s going to be in the NFL and he should easily be a top 3 pick
Seeing his dad play wit the hurricanes I can see him turning into the same stature, one thing he got over pops is that arm jr out dat bihhh doin it all 💪🏿😎
Number 8 was on Gore island all night 😂😂
I thought it was just me who noticed 😂 abusing him all game
*I'D LOVE TO SEE HIM TRANSFER TO COLORADO WITH COACH PRIME!!* 💪🏽💪🏽
That run right before end of 3rd quarter gave him “crazy work” mccoy voice
Phenomenal!👍🏾👍🏾💯
It's oddly heartwarming to see him running like his dad lol. Wish nothing but the best for Jr. 💫
THAT was impressive 🔥🔥🔥
Impeccable
Just like pops 🔥🔥🔥
Ballin'!
Dude is really good at letting the Play develope and waiting for the blocks and play to develope. Reads the field really really well for a college kid.
Yeah definitely runs in the family. What a beast
Boy out there moving like SPENCER JAMES😂😂
SMTTT🦅Super Frank💕
Chargers bound...with his Dad's 49er coach, Jim Harbaugh
That kid going in the first round!
Bro was eating 🍽️
Beastmode
That place was rockin on that last run lol
I been watching him since high school I feel like a proud dad
League bound young fella!!! Fast n shifty 💰💰💰 🔥🔥
He’s just like Pops I hope He succeeds in the NFL when He goes 🔥🔥🔥
This man stays showing out
Buddy did a lot of this by himself
The O-Line wasn't opening much. FGJ patience and vision was doing all the work!!
He's a beast. Fast and strong
Looks so much like his pops when he runs....congrats Frank
Man reminds me when his dad , when GORE up left side for 99 yard rushing TD against the Jets. I’ll never forget that game. He was a awesome player
Must have been playing a video game because he never did that in his life. As a matter of fact he’s never had a run longer than 80 yards in his career
He’s confusing Gore with Garrison Hearst
That was Garrison Hearst, not Gore
Reminds me of when this never took place lol
This years rice harvest has been the most gloriest for Gore ever...
I like how there's not a lot of wasted motion. Even with his moves he is getting up field.
The old "north and south" but with style, can't go wrong
Impressive!
"Crazy Work"
He’s patient and can read the gaps in defense like Laveon bell
Run just like pops 💪🏽
That man frankie went crazy
I love how patient he is nowadays you just see rbs straight shooting full speed at these linemen.. but then again they ain’t gore jr , this kid is very talented he’s out here stiff arming like Derrick Henry & juking like devin Hester plus he got a arm like what more can you ask for!?!?
I know Sr gotta be proud af after that performance
Look like I just saw highlights of his pops that style of running is just alike. My niners need to draft him…
His dad had fumbling issues too. Otherwise, I love his size, speed, vision....and he can pass!!
Sr gotta be proud of Jr!
