I know like I know, I don’t want to birth a child and the older I get the more vocal I am about sharing that personal decision with people. Especially the people who assume I’ll bear children in the future.

I’ve known since I was 8 that kids will never be for me. That lifestyle choice was reaffirmed when I was 24 yr old and fell pregnant with a man I was in a relationship with. However, I told this man for the first 2 years of dating him my stance on children, but he still chose to not use a condom one night while I was conveniently wasted to the point of blacked out. Entrapment. I was so enraged when I got the positive pregnancy test. I ordered him to pay for the abortion, and he did. Now I’m 32 and celibate. I can sit back and see men for who/what they are and I see it with the men my friends are in relationships with too. No thank you. Not for me.

Hey love, I don’t know you that well to make any smart discernment but what I do know is as long as you guys don’t have the ring or marriage is involved you’ll navigate this. You just have to have a mental boundary that is very strong for yourself and then applied towards him and whatever you do just remember doing it for yourself and your kid in for survival cause men are really not good of people, ruin your life so make sure your life doesn’t get ruined even though it already is don’t make it worse You got this you will go through it and if you need chideras phone number, I think you can Schedule 101 calls and get some motivation to begin with from theirs. I hope that helps.

People definitely don't take having children seriously...people really act like it's just something that happens out of the blue with no thoughts. People will fully say they did not decide or choose to have children it just happened? Also why are people surprised when they get pregnant when nothing was done to prevent it

Same! I suppose it’s just been the norm since forever for all women to eventually become mothers, it’s as normal & expected as marriage. So it doesn’t feel like it can be a choice. people (especially men 👀) are too blasé & risky about it. It’s a person you have to raise. I’m self aware enough to know I’m not cut out for that!

I pray that this message lands for everybody who watches it because this is so real and a topic that SHOULD be taken seriously. Im somebody who watched almost all (if not all) the women in my life go through pregnancy and raising children by their selves or at most, having a lazy/unproviding baby father. I really would not wish that on anyone, and it was very sad to watch the people in my life experience that. And I truly believe that no woman should be FORCED to work while pregnant either because their childs father cant provide, because in my eyes the pregnancy IS the job?? Youre literally creating a whole human being from scratch, for a whole 9 months?? And God forbid you have to then raise that child by yourself, no no no. Moral of the story, please listen to what shes saying yall!! Its in your best interest

I’m so grateful to my mother for not marrying/procreating with a broke man. Still a man (sigh) but I always had my needs met as a child. I can’t imagine dealing with both a sour attitude and brokeness lmao
