I have no opinion on Mario Party 7, but this game was quite solid so I don't expect MP7 to quite live up to Wii Party U.

Maybe a few more boards, but yes, the modes are pretty cool, and in Mario Party: Island Tour, most of the boards were race boards, so, uh, yeah.

Something just doesn't feel right about this whole thing ending with Emile losing at a luck-based minigame. I guess times sure have changed.
It's a sign of how the Mario Party series has progressed for him. He started out with incredible luck, and now he has absolutely terrible luck.
That moment when you realize that this game had a lot more content than the Mario Party games after 8. That's just embarassing.

This has been the case for the majority of TRG history.
I've grown use to it by now.
The Green Dragon 53 Agreed, TRG in a nutshell is Jon wins after outsmarting his rival Chugga, followed by Tim who tried well enough to be first but fate didn't want him to go over the rivalry, and the AI (should it be present) is filler that gets last (as expected).
It's more fun than usual when the status quo doesn't happen, such as Jon (or sometimes maybe even Chugga, but I'd say usually Jon) getting last, and Tim or the AI winning.
I mean Tim is good at games, just not multiplayer games, I love the Castlevania race with Tim and Jon, he crushed it.
Tim is really good at older and single player games, multiplayer just doesn't seem to be his thing most of the time
I remember a couple years ago, playing Run to the Sun with my brothers, and deciding we all needed superhero names to go with our Miis. I ended going with Red Flare (complete with ridiculous voice and referring to myself in the third-person), while my chose such lovely names as: Blue Shoe, Green Lantern (he refused to change it), and... I honestly can't remember what the yellow one was. Oh well.
Even when it’s not Mario Party, Jon destroys everyone
This game is underrated. I hope more people come to play it.

Run to the sun is not completely luck based for there are keys that tell you where the attack happens and I followed this and did it with full hearts at the end
Also just so you know the luck is were the keys are that tell you cause if it is one way then it is a lie the other and it is truthful hard to tell at first but you might get use to it cause I haven't
