The Human Airstrike Nintendo Land-Great Multiplayer. Sonic Adventure 2- Switch off each level. Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii-Can't defend this... They've already played the original. It's also a mod. That's a big hurdle.
Don't worry Emile, you might not have been able to kill anyone in the game in Catch a Wave, but you probably exploded at least a few ears in real life. That's good enough, right?
Rukalin Emile inducted himself into the Kermit legion back during his Partners in Time LP or thereabouts when he went into a (better) Kermit impression at one point. May have been an outtake, but he kept it.
Yeah, nobody really tried a sliding scale without switching octaves (I think Tim did a little but his calibration was off and he switched octaves to throw off the pitch sensor even more).
gamefan6219 He never said how long this period of time would be. Your fault for inferring that the previous episode would be the last one given what has and hasn’t been shown.
All the people talking as though last episode was the end and asking for more Dokapon now that it’s over...did they forget that there’s more than just four player FFA minigames in this game? We haven’t even gotten to the rest of the tabletop minigames! 1:18 No, your AI is not your trap-finding bird/cat/orphan/disposable NPC. This is not DnD. ...Or maybe it is since the AI already caught on to a trap and let the group know. 4:10 Gonna have to try harder than that to outsmart Tim in a logic puzzle...or just make things overly simplistic/obtuse so that he overthinks or thinks about things the wrong way. 5:10 To it’s credit, it’s better at detecting facial features than most camera apps you’d find out there. Due to my eyes being naturally squinty, most apps don’t recognize my face as a face. The one app that did recognize my face as a face even thought that my nose was where my mouth was and vice versa or something like that. And no, that’s not what that filter was supposed to do as my siblings had tested that out on themselves and their friends before trying it out on me, and it worked fine. You can’t really get the varying degrees of sidling speed though with an analog d-pad input that you can with tilt control. It’s not like you’ve got joysticks either. Funny. I was thinking of a mix between Archerivals and the Shredder spider-mech boss fight from Turtles in Time. 7:13 About as painful as lending someone your ear. 8:15 Somehow this is even less balanced than the Luigi’s Mansion game from Nintendo Land... 12:42 Man, and Emile’s Kermit impression during PiT(?) was kinda on point. No way the Kermit Legion’s gonna let him live this one down. 19:20 Man, as an EE, watching them waffle about trying to complete the fuses/circuits was kinda painful. 20:00 Oh boy, it’s Volume Warning: The Video Game! 23:00 That more so sounded like Emile trying to imitate Dirk the Daring’s pain shrieks. That’s a real good mic, that Gamepad mic. All of Emile’s higher pitched screeches wound up being on the left side of the screen while Tim’s more bass-y voice stuck to the right side when really, the frequency spectrum should be the other way around. 25:00 Man, what a garbage minigame...can’t even cheese this one by just going “Wah”...can you?
NoirCore No, I watch D20 Live...but I can only imagine the many looks on Mercer’s face at the number of things proposed to him as would-be trap-finders...
I'm not sure why 3 of you failed to read the mic direction minigame prompt. It said at the beginning, very clearly, be quite so the mic could calibrate.
The Gamepad says to provide a low sound for a baseline. The problem is that they went really low to establish the calibration and then proceeded to sing octaves higher and the game didn't know what to do because of it. The idea is to provide a sound that will be your lowest and then stay within an octave of that tone.
Out of all Emile's noises during Catch a Wave the one at 22:57 has to be my favourite, because it basically sounds like something that would come out of Dirk the Daring's mouth
The mic isn’t bad if you sing a chromatic scale on that mini game it’ll work fine you just need to sing it chromatically, Jon was the closest but all he was doing was sliding between low do, mi, sol, and high do meaning he only had 4 possible spots for it to activate
With that swimming ninja game, you probably need to take advantage of the leaves to hide successfully. Or hope your opponent doesn't bother to learn how to play the game, that works pretty well too.
The UFO game and the voice spectrum game are going to be in the top moments from this game. Wait and see. Also, I am impressed at Jon's vocal range; not nearly as impressive as Emile's, but I wonder if Lucahjin has ever heard him sing.
yup!!! I said yep what a concept I could use a little fuel myself And we could all use a little change Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running
Personally, like Jon, I prefer all the other Astro Lounge songs not named All Star. Speak of which, listen to "I Just Wanna See". Sounds so calm and like a drug trip with the lyrics.
Im pretty sure Jon is that John from the smash community that had always an excuse when he lost therefore the phrase "no johns", because damn if he have an excuse for every fail.
Judging from the tones Jon was using, it sounds like some of those spots are sharps and flats. (And I seem to recall reading somewhere that Japan music schools use the "True Scale" which doesn't have any sharps or flats and counts each one as a note on the scale)
From what I’ve seen based on how the AI plays this game, it’s just every note on the C Major scale without sharps or flats. And usually the AI with the voice succeeds if they are within the top 3 difficulties (Advanced, Expert, Master)
Game: "Please do not make any noise."
The Guys: [pointedly makes noise] "This is a _great_ mic."
Chugga: “Okay, so that one is a trap square...” *steps on it anyway 5 seconds later*
Emile accomplished so much in a minute:
22:34 Emile hits puberty
22:38 Emile practices singing and tries to hit a high note
22:40 Emile becomes a housewife who just saw a mouse
22:42 Emile is IN THE BATHROOM
22:45 Emile does his best Animal (Muppets) Impression
22:47 Emile is trying to go high pitched but it's not working
22:50 Emile became a Toad
22:51 Emile is riding a Roller Coaster
22:54 Emile becomes a car
22:55 Emile becomes DK
22:58 The mating call of the Arizonan born Mexican
23:03 Emile gives up
They grow up so fast!
Tim sounded so disappointed when he realized he couldn't play the minigame by singing Stayin' Alive, I feel for him :( .
Hi, I'm with the pet hospital down the street, I understand you have a dying animal on the premises...
StoneXL StoneXL You’ve reached the house of unrecognized talent please start after the 22:45
Here, have an Internet!
@@happypasta6 Sounds like you've got a dying animal to attend to, eh, ol' chum?
Gotta love watching Tim play a logic game.
Agreed, he's really badass!
Someone should send them Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree for the Coliseum..!
The mating call of the Arizonan born Mexican 😂😂😂
22:33 "Oh my God what the hell is that?!"
"I don't know, it's like someone's torturing a frickin cat"
Joe Scirrotto Mr. Popo, are you torturing a cat?
Rexaura888 Oh come on Kami, I don't torture c̶a̶t̶s̶
JYNX JYNX
The Zazest Bitch shut up
Ohh i get it XD
22:38 RIP Everyone's ears, Chugga is "singing"
So what we learned here is that while Tim's the best singer, Jon has the best vocal range.
deathknight75 And Emile has the loudest volume. But that's common knowledge.
"It only does certain pitches"
No, you were only singing certain pitches lol
The thought of chugga as a mad scientist is truly frightening.
autobotjazz1972 yes it is
"Congrats on Snarfing."
-ProtonJon, 2018.
Tim is Professer Layton confirmed.
Professor Lay-Tim.
Tim: I believe...that you are the pervert!
*Points at chugga*
Yet more proof why he should LP Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright.
Hope he'll do that after finishing the other two Pheonix Wright games.
Sot 'Harumai
Professor LayTim vs Emile Wright*
Emile what the hell happened when you were playing the wave game XD
sweet jesus. That was hilarious.
I'm laughing so hard after Chugga using the mic.
Me too.
Starts here 20:25.
I love how enthusiastic Emile sounded when he said "I'm good at singing!"
And then proceeded to make the Arizonan-born Mexican mating call.
Are you guys ever going to play Nintendo Land? I think it could make for a great play through plus you could bring on two guests instead of just one.
Didn't they already do Nintendo Land?
Nopem
i want to sonic adventure 2 aswell but i dont think a romhack like newer super mario wii will happen
Not that I know of
The Human Airstrike
Nintendo Land-Great Multiplayer.
22:40 hey Emile did you find another Phanpy
22:40 For a minute, I thought Emile turned into Elliot from SGB there
Has... Has the Kermit Legion invaded Wii Party U now? Are the sandwiches on their way?
Rukalin Emile inducted himself into the Kermit legion back during his Partners in Time LP or thereabouts when he went into a (better) Kermit impression at one point. May have been an outtake, but he kept it.
The only thing like that I can remember from PiT is Kylie "Shaggy" Koopa.
Rukalin I just hope one of them starts talking about lobsters 😂😂
1:54 Emile, the AI is standing right next to exactly one tile that can possibly have a trap from that position. Why did you walk into it?
Yami not even two minutes in and Emile’s already screwed up, 10/10 best quality
Shush, he has a master plan!
Pretty sure his master plan was "Hopefully Tim will figure it out". :D
Is Emile the Eggman?
Chugga sounded so happy when he immediately volunteered to go second on that wave one haha
Jon and his tritones; no wonder he was only getting three different places in the audio game, lol.
Yeah, they needed to try adjusting their pitch by single notes. You know, like singing "IN THE BATHROOM". (I'm amazed Tim didn't try that!)
Yeah, nobody really tried a sliding scale without switching octaves (I think Tim did a little but his calibration was off and he switched octaves to throw off the pitch sensor even more).
Yeeeah. I guess that minigame's harder if you don't have much experience with music.
I mean, Tim loves Phoenix Wright...
Homura Akemi Emile loves Layton, and yet he didn’t make it past the first round, falling into the same trap he initially pointed out.
22:31
Sarge: WHAT IN SAM HILL IS THAT!?! IT SOUNDS LIKE THE MATING CALL OF A TONE-DEAF MEXICAN SASQUATCH!
Simmons: TURN IT OFF! TURN IT OFF!
Tim coming in clutch with the floor trap puzzles
We all know that the Gamepad is the best thing about playing minigames on the Wii U.
1:57 did chugga really just... omg
Me "Was he trying to be Canadian?"
Emile "I sound like a space alien"
...................... All Canadians are space aliens?????
they also have beaver pets as they travel through the galaxy! collecting maple syrup and befriending bears along the way!
Well I mean we live up north. So we technically are in living in space, while you guys more south of us are like earthlings to us.
"The ti
me has come for the end to end all party games."
*He says when there actually more.*
gamefan6219 He never said how long this period of time would be. Your fault for inferring that the previous episode would be the last one given what has and hasn’t been shown.
That part with the microphone. It cracked me up
All the people talking as though last episode was the end and asking for more Dokapon now that it’s over...did they forget that there’s more than just four player FFA minigames in this game?
Rexaura888 "bird/cat"
...you don't watch Critical Role, do you? :P
I was just about to say that Emile sounded a little bit like Dirk as well.
Those monkey noises when he catches on fire make me smirk to be honest.
NoirCore No, I watch D20 Live...but I can only imagine the many looks on Mercer’s face at the number of things proposed to him as would-be trap-finders...
The minigame at 7:38 reminds me of the Nintendo Land Luigi Mansion game.
22:34 *Jesus Christ Emile*
23:09 someone needs to animate that!
YES PLEASE
7:15 "Peeling your eyelids sounds painful."
Me: it is. Imagine the skin on the lids sticking and being pulled apart
I'm not sure why 3 of you failed to read the mic direction minigame prompt. It said at the beginning, very clearly, be quite so the mic could calibrate.
Maybe it said something else on the GamePad?
TheSpeedymouse the gamepad says to make 1 sound for it to calibrate correctly
The Gamepad says to provide a low sound for a baseline. The problem is that they went really low to establish the calibration and then proceeded to sing octaves higher and the game didn't know what to do because of it. The idea is to provide a sound that will be your lowest and then stay within an octave of that tone.
That "Arizonian Mating Calls" had me laughing for 5 minutes straight. Well done.
Tim is the expert Mine Sweeper. So U can't catch Mii is basically the Luigi's Mansion minigame from Nintendo Land in reverse. Neat.
Only 14 minigames? I guess that’s a step up from Wii Party’s whopping 5
22:40 I-is he Okay?
I don't know anymore.
And AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEEAAAHHH!!!
He is Sr Pelo
Out of all Emile's noises during Catch a Wave the one at 22:57 has to be my favourite, because it basically sounds like something that would come out of Dirk the Daring's mouth
Tim mostly soloing that maze trap game was amazing.
Yeah I loved that part.
Emile literally just shrieking into the mic made my entire day, holy shit
The last 5 minutes are the greatest minutes of this channel.
one of...
The Gamepad's mic is just as useful as the GameCube's mic.
Legend has it someone is calculating the scores
Oh my goodness. I love TRG, and I have loved this series. . . this episode may be the best one of the LP.
The mic isn’t bad if you sing a chromatic scale on that mini game it’ll work fine you just need to sing it chromatically, Jon was the closest but all he was doing was sliding between low do, mi, sol, and high do meaning he only had 4 possible spots for it to activate
I've not had a good, hearty laugh with tears in a while. Thanks, Emile!
Professor Timothy and The Mysterious Tomb.
Jon's singing in the mic minigame at the end sounded like the singing stones in Twilight Princess without the windy overtone.
Some uses better then others, I guess that means the games are hit or miss.
I can't stop laughing at Emile's scream, it's so damn funny!!! Everything was so good omg. This was so great, thanks for all the laughs you guys x'3
10:33 Jon: "Prove me wrong, please."
My meme senses are tingling. I must make the dream a reality!
Oh wow, now I really want to see the Runaway Guys play some rounds of Invisigun. It's like U can't catch mii but all players are invisible.
22:51
My exact reaction when Zeraora was anounced! Thanks Emile!
22:32 had me dying
If sitting through the shittiness of Nininger taught me anything, it's that Ninja Cowboys are kinda cool.
"Well Pokémon has puzzles too."
By puzzles, you mean translating Brail!
22:25 Uh Chugga? Look at the screen...
Echo the gamepad said to make a sound to calibrate it
With that swimming ninja game, you probably need to take advantage of the leaves to hide successfully. Or hope your opponent doesn't bother to learn how to play the game, that works pretty well too.
Boy I can't WAIT for that Liar Liar video
20:12 "I'm singing in the *wave!"*
I'm doing the Mexican version
Mask Gamer Yep. For the games he is not playable in, I ironically go with Luigi.
22:33 What the hell Emile.
Emile, there was only one place that first trap could have been, and you stepped directly onto it.
If I somehow meet TRG in real life, I’m gonna show a video of the last minigame, but with a magnifying glass over the “Do not make any noise”
Ah yes, the greatness that is, TRG!!
The UFO game and the voice spectrum game are going to be in the top moments from this game. Wait and see. Also, I am impressed at Jon's vocal range; not nearly as impressive as Emile's, but I wonder if Lucahjin has ever heard him sing.
You know the BEST Egyptian style music? The Pillarmen theme from Jojo.
Catch a Wave might not be good with the hardware but DAMN IT WAS FUNNY WATCHING EMILE TRY IT
1:58 Chugga should've known that was there.
7:16 Exactly the same thing the announcer on FE Heroes said last night.
23:10 Beautiful.
That part at 22:18 is never gonna get old
I remember Catch a Wave.
Gamepad player started singing Take On Me
Won in seconds
Goodness that last mini-game was something else. XD
If there's ever a "best of Emile", that part near the end should go on.
Chugga: I'm good at singing.
So guys, what are your option?
1. Turn your headphone at maximum volume.
2. Remove/Mute your headphone.
Shudders* Oh no.... The Legion of Kermit...THEY COME!!!!
Near the end was one of the funniest things ever.
Today, we learned the mating call of the Arizonan-born-Mexican.
I wish that Tim was doing the U Can’t Catch Mii game then it would’ve been like that episode of Fairly OddParents called TimVisible
Apparently real ninjas really did hide underwater like this one minigame.
I'm the only one that gets Twilight Princess howling mechanic vibes from Jon's turn on the last minigame?
22:30 Seriously the end was sinister elmo.
21:00 I totally expected Tim to start singing the Great Mighty Poo's opera.
25:27 did anyone else catch that it was a smash mouth reference?
yup!!!
I said yep what a concept
I could use a little fuel myself
And we could all use a little change
Well, the years start coming and they don't stop coming
Fed to the rules and I hit the ground running
Personally, like Jon, I prefer all the other Astro Lounge songs not named All Star.
Speak of which, listen to "I Just Wanna See". Sounds so calm and like a drug trip with the lyrics.
22:33 emile fanboying over kirbys epic yarn
I could sure use a bit of change myself.
she is a wolf in mouse clothing. 22:51
*Jumps to mouse*
Emiles voice from the mouse: WWWWOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!
Emile literally sounded like the Friends bagpipes bit going EEEEEE
and Whitey from Eight Crazy Nights
Im pretty sure Jon is that John from the smash community that had always an excuse when he lost therefore the phrase "no johns", because damn if he have an excuse for every fail.
Andrei3253 Eh, not really. He's willing to admit when a mistake is his bad.
7:30 I'M THE INVISIBLE MAN,
I'M THE INVISIBLE MAN,
INCREDIBLE HOW YOU CAN,
SEE RIGHT TROUGH ME!
Is it sad that I've been waiting for this like a giddy school girl?
[ulternate catch a wave]
testing.
[announcer start]
[GTA] I'LL HAVE A 2 NUMBER 9s A NUMBER 9 LARGE, NUMBER 6 WITH EXTRA DIP NUMBER 7 AND A LARGE SODA
22:33 I didn't know Chugga can sing that high pitch. Surprise he didn't shatter anything xD
I'm upset that none of the top comments pointed out chugga referencing all star at the end of the video "yep what a concept"
12:44 The Legion of Kermit MAY have been summoned. Maybe. (cue Kermit emotes flooding in)
