So what we learned here is that while Tim's the best singer, Jon has the best vocal range.

Yeah, they needed to try adjusting their pitch by single notes. You know, like singing "IN THE BATHROOM". (I'm amazed Tim didn't try that!)
Yeah, nobody really tried a sliding scale without switching octaves (I think Tim did a little but his calibration was off and he switched octaves to throw off the pitch sensor even more).
Yeeeah. I guess that minigame's harder if you don't have much experience with music.
Are you guys ever going to play Nintendo Land? I think it could make for a great play through plus you could bring on two guests instead of just one.

We all know that the Gamepad is the best thing about playing minigames on the Wii U.
The minigame at 7:38 reminds me of the Nintendo Land Luigi Mansion game.

5:10 To it’s credit, it’s better at detecting facial features than most camera apps you’d find out there. Due to my eyes being naturally squinty, most apps don’t recognize my face as a face. The one app that did recognize my face as a face even thought that my nose was where my mouth was and vice versa or something like that. And no, that’s not what that filter was supposed to do as my siblings had tested that out on themselves and their friends before trying it out on me, and it worked fine.
You can’t really get the varying degrees of sidling speed though with an analog d-pad input that you can with tilt control. It’s not like you’ve got joysticks either.
Funny. I was thinking of a mix between Archerivals and the Shredder spider-mech boss fight from Turtles in Time.

That’s a real good mic, that Gamepad mic. All of Emile’s higher pitched screeches wound up being on the left side of the screen while Tim’s more bass-y voice stuck to the right side when really, the frequency spectrum should be the other way around.

The mic isn’t bad if you sing a chromatic scale on that mini game it’ll work fine you just need to sing it chromatically, Jon was the closest but all he was doing was sliding between low do, mi, sol, and high do meaning he only had 4 possible spots for it to activate

I'm not sure why 3 of you failed to read the mic direction minigame prompt. It said at the beginning, very clearly, be quite so the mic could calibrate.
Maybe it said something else on the GamePad?
TheSpeedymouse the gamepad says to make 1 sound for it to calibrate correctly
The Gamepad says to provide a low sound for a baseline. The problem is that they went really low to establish the calibration and then proceeded to sing octaves higher and the game didn't know what to do because of it. The idea is to provide a sound that will be your lowest and then stay within an octave of that tone.
Tim is the expert Mine Sweeper. So U can't catch Mii is basically the Luigi's Mansion minigame from Nintendo Land in reverse. Neat.

Jon's singing in the mic minigame at the end sounded like the singing stones in Twilight Princess without the windy overtone.

If sitting through the shittiness of Nininger taught me anything, it's that Ninja Cowboys are kinda cool.
With that swimming ninja game, you probably need to take advantage of the leaves to hide successfully. Or hope your opponent doesn't bother to learn how to play the game, that works pretty well too.
Catch a Wave might not be good with the hardware but DAMN IT WAS FUNNY WATCHING EMILE TRY IT
