I'm in the U.S. too. It's kind of a pipe dream of mine to retire on a narrowboat in the UK. In the meantime I'm thinking about van life and doing my homework on camper vans, safety issues, practicality, budget, etc. So this is nice to hear & I'm glad it's working out for you. The community is a big plus, I'm sure! (Also loved Wes & Amy's ad btw, very clever and funny.)

Hello and thanks for another funny vlog. It was great to see Peter frog again, he looks cool in his summer outfit. The nappy pin invention is kind of what we use too. We have one on a short rope at the front and the back of the boat to hold the boat still while we moor up. Wes's invention was very good for the locks though xxx

Try spraying with some WD40 some rain moisture water may have caused the issue and line the grill with aluminum foil it will save it from burning Amy lol

I’m here in the US where we don’t have many lock systems- at least not in the Midwest where I am, and I DO understand the lock - boat in, fill up- go up, or boat in, let water out- go down, but Amy, I do wish your geekiness can explain where the water goes, or comes from, and why does the system never run out of water???

Still raining cause you washed the boat. Just like if you wash a car, sure enough it will rain. Need to get those like wire clam shell baskets that are made for veggies for your vegan hotdogs. Then just flip the basket over instead of chasing your hotdogs.
