- Hi everyone! In this tutorial I'm showing how to download and install fonts from Dafont.com to your Mac computer so you are able to use it in Cricut Design Space. There are a TON of great fonts free for personal use that you can download from this website!

I followed your great tutorial. Thank you. When I open my Font Book, I believe all the fonts in USER go to Cricut Design Space. What about ALL FONTS and COMPUTER fonts. Can all of those be downloaded to Cricut Design Space?

watched alot of your videos prior to investing in a cricut. I having alot of issues in design space regarding uploading images. I can upload and edit but when i save it says saved but is no where to be found.. is this an known issue? any suggestions would be greatly appreciatd.

Hey! I recently got a cricut maker and i want to start making some projects with different fonts. I downloaded a font from DAFONT called 'old london' and but when I download and install it it does not appear in my design space when I search it up. But i also notices that in your 'user' all those fonts are there which im guessing are your cricut fonts as well so i checked on my user and i only have one fotn with is the 'old london' font but not other fonts. Is there a trick to connecting the fonts to my MAC or how does that work? Please if you or anyone who can help with any suggestions reply to this it would be so much help! I love your videos by the way!
This was a very helpful video. In the "Hello" font, there are swashes & a heart. How do you get those?

I'm trying to install Leisha font and I want the swash too. How do I get those? I don't see them in the regular download
When I download a lot of the serif fonts I found that there is almost no spacing between the words. Other than making each word it's own text box is there a way to fix this? I tried adding more spaces between words in a text box and it didn't work.
Its not coming up on my macbook pro only TTF files is coming up and that doesnt allow me to install the font?
Thank you for this information. I noticed that on dafont the hello honey font has a swash at the beginning and the end. How would we add that on Cricut Design space?
The creator of the font will usually add instructions on how to add them but usually it’s just a symbol “/“ or “|” or something similar and when you type that on design space it converts it into a heart or whatever for you. Sorry I’m not that good at explaining things, I hope that made sense.
put a parenthesis after the word you are wanting the swash on
Hi Kayla when the new updated Cricut design software uploaded. My mac desktop will not support the new version. Any Suggestions i just cannot afford a computer.

Hi, this did not work for me on my Mac. I used to be able to see System Fonts but about 2 months ago I can no longer see them in Design Space on my Mac. I can still access my fonts on Photoshop and Word so I believe this is a DS issue. I have tried reinstalling DS and that does not work. Any tips? I have MacOS Catalina 10.15.7.

Nice. If you have two windows open, one of your font book the other downloads you can just drag them all at once.

I followed your step by step instructions (I am using a MAC) and the font did download into my cricut design space but only as a cut file. Could I have done something wrong? I even downloaded "hello honey". Please advise.

Download it again it’s going to give you the option to remove one of them
Mines did not work I guess I keep doing something incorrectly…. In my MAc… I added the Hello Honey and attempted to pull in back up and nothing shown… well it did show what Cricut had with the being word of Hello… 😐😵💫🤔😅❣️

Hey cricut peeps. Not aure if anyone else has a MAC that does this but mine will not bring up my downloaded fonts (even if I search) unless I am in "system" fonts. It never works if I am searching "All" fonts. Hope this helps someone who may be like me, pulling their hair out.

i dont get the install option on any of the files
Try Right clicking on the otf or the ttf file and select Open with ▶️ Font Book. Another window will pop up that gives you the “Install Font” option.
