- Hi Everyone! In this video I'm sharing how to download fonts from dafont.com to use in Cricut Design Space on your mobile device. First I show how to do this on your iOS device (Iphone/Ipad), then on your android. You'll want to download the ifont app for the iOS device and the phonto app on your android phone.

To get it transparent when you click on plain images select your square and then click color and drag the alpha bar all the way to the left. It will then be transparent. Hope this helps.

You are heaven sent. I was working on getting this to my Android for 2 weeks. I boxed all my cricut machines I bought so I can return it. I was bummed until I saw this video! For android users. The app she tells you to get the easiest way to get a transparent background is to click load new image, then click plain image, click the first one and click the bar that says color its right underneath the boxes that say empty. Itll pull up a bunch of sliders where you can adjust the color, the very last slider Alpha set it all the way to 000. Now add your text and save as a png it will be transparent for cricut.

Perfect Thanks. Also with I phone 11 in the end when you go to settings after downloading, you need to click on iPhone settings suggestions. There will be a red dot with a number) click that then you will get to see the Profile Download .

I followed everything perfectly and the fonts aren’t showing up in my design space. I’ve tried refreshing, reinstalling. I’ve tried with 5 different fonts, still no fonts. It seems I’m not the only one that is having this issue. Has anyone figured it out?

do you have to register dafont app to see the downloads from computer? I'm not seeing the downlaod on my android phone from the computer. Or can we just create projects online with this app for logos. Do we need to have the mobile for this project?

How do I use the glyphs for free, I downloaded the hello font from dafontand when I open the glyphs in ifont I can't copy them I thought maybe that was a guide to tell me what keys to press in order to access them but it doesn't seem to match up on an iOS device

Everytime i click download font. I click open. It says "invalid file"
Sydney Rae Stratton What I had to do is long press it and then tap Uncompress. Then the blue file appeared. But just tapping the Zip said invalid.

The writing never shows up onto the white square. :-(
I selected the black square and the text appears.

I had the same issue! The text is there. It's just dim. Change the color! It'll show up!

This helped a ton but when I made the sentence transparent when I wanted to save it, It was black, and I want it colored what do I do?
I have an android and this works if you want to cut the font, but if you want to use the pen it says "This project has images that cannot be sent to Mat. To resolve, select OK and adjust affected layers." Am I doing something wrong? I followed the tutorial step by step but instead of clicking "cut" I selected "print and cut"

Did you figure out how to make a transparant background on Phonto?
To make it transparent: when selecting your template. Click where it says color, on the line that says alpha drag that all the way to the left and boom transparent!

The issue is how to recover the ones that we are already downloaded before the web access was taken away. I have over 10 and they’re all gone now.

I use adobe draw illustrator. And Adobe captcha. I take a pic of the font on captcha. It allows you to not have to drawthe whole thing out on draw. Then in draw app click on the v stamp button and then choose your image then stamp it. Save as png with transparent background. Then import it to your Cricut design space

What is the difference between the TTF file and the OTF file?
If you install on an iPhone can it also go to the Mac thru the iCloud. Or do you have to download separately to your desktop?
That's a really good question!! I'm not sure, I will have to look into that and see if you can use the icloud. If you can, that would make it really easy! I'll let you know what I find out :)
